Second Chapter // The beach party
“Dude, you know, I should’ve listened to my father for at least once in my lifetime” , Aiden said to Eustace scrunching his nose.
“Really? Well , what are to referring that to ?” , asked Eustace.
“He used to say” , said Aiden and in a husky voice he said , “Never think that girls would ever be ready at the right time in case of a party, all they know is to be late and make others late.”
Eustace chuckled and said ,”True said bro.”
Apparently it was true , the lads had already waited 45 minutes and still Evanna was not ready yet. But this situation was not inexperienced by the boys so they said Evanna to come down an hour earlier but an quarter had passed and her reply was, “Not yet , just hold on” . Seems like her ‘just’ wasn’t not a literal just.
Aiden let out another yawn and said,”I’ll go check on my sister, if the babysitter is doing well or not , you stay , yeah?”
Eustace nodded to him and he went towards his house.
Moments later Eustace heard footsteps approaching him ,he turned around and faced a ravishing girl with her wavy her let down , face covered in light make-up ;yet stunning , body hugged with peach colored dress with a huge cut out on the lower torso which also had some thin strings joining the two pieces – a dress that revealed all her curves ; she was looking astounding in it. The only word was gorgeous.
Eustace let out a dramatic sigh and said , “Finally , her majesty Queen Evanna Young is here !”
Evanna let out soft chuckles and said ,”Sorry I know I am a bit late- “ , but even before she could continue it Eustace said , “A bit ? Did I just hear that. Hmm.. 50 minutes , yeah serves it right”
“Whatever” , Evanna rolled her eyes and said ,”Were even anyways”
Raising one of his eyebrows Eustace said ,“Fair game now ?”
Nodding her head dramatically Evanna said , “Anyways , how do I look ?”
“Like a fat ugly toad would look in a dress that’s stripped and is joint with strings”
“Did you just not ?!?! “ , Evanna said widening her eyes , “Eustace Sullivan , I could murder you right now!”
“What’s the fuss about ?” Aiden said cutting in the conversation , as he walked towards them he noticed the elegant Evanna and told her , “ You look gorgeous Eve”
“Thanks Aiden “ , she said with a smile and eyed Eustace and retorted , “Unlike someone.” Aiden laughed at this childish jest and Eustace grinned widely , “Fair game now.”
“So how about we go now ?” , Aiden offered.
“Sure” , said Evanna and added ,”I’ll walk with you , I don’t wanna be with people who takes me as a fat and ugly toad .” Aiden simply laughed and hold Evanna’s hand.
“Let’s go ! To the party we head !”

Whining and arguing like kids all the three- Evanna , Eustace and Aiden reached the beach. Some of their mates were there already whist some not yet. Like a gentleman Eustace opened the car door for Evanna. She smiled and got out of the door when gently he whispered in her ear ,”You look elegant babe.” Evanna blushed at this and Eustace grinned widely. Their little moment was smashed my Aiden by saying , “Shall we , guys ?”
Eustace just grunted in anger and Evanna chuckled ,”Sure thing.” Confused seeing this Aiden said , “Did I just miss something ?”
Eustace replied ,”Not at all , now let’s go!”
