P.S : Not to get ya’ll confused , the prologue was in the P.O.V of a guy but this chapter isn’t so don’t get bewildered . Thanks !

First chapter // Legacy continued

“Go Cheetahs !” , the crowds roared.

The cheerleaders were dancing with their greatest ardour. Body swaying in sync. Amidst then stood a girl with raven black hair , sapphire blue eyes , sexy jawline and a body to die for ; Evanna Young.

The score was 2-1 , sure there was one hell of a game ahead the Cheetahs. The opponent team , the pirates were indeed beaming with joy as it’d be the first time ever someone got a lead over the cheetahs. Cheetahs- the phenomenal team who could never be defeated, or to say hadn’t been. The captain of the team was the one and only masterpiece of the whole universe , at least : the no-words-to-describe , the Mr.Perfect , inexplicably sexy , hot and what not ! ; Eustace Sullivan . So basically , he had this smile that could kill a person , not literally – but yeah ! It was something never off his face but right now was an exception.

The atmosphere was all tensed. The first half had ended already. Next half sure one hell of a time !

With his hair tousled in the most sexy way possible , Eustace walked up to his bench and sat down. Taking heavy breathes, he was trying to come up with some ideas – afterall a legacy can’t break , right ?

“Here” , a husky voice told him with a pat on his shoulder, Eustace glanced over his shoulders , “Thanks dude !” , he replied with a small smile to his best friend ; Aiden Storm. Yeah , as the name suggests , someone who could bring a storm to a girl’s heart just by walking past her . Those lush brown eyes , tousled hair , perfect jawline and a killer smile of million volts . He was the co-captain of the Cheetahs and also Eustaces’ best friend .

With a worried expression on his face , the coach of the Cheetahs , walked towards the two captains , “Aiden , you’re up next , whom should I swap you with ? Brent or Garret ?” , he questioned. “Nash” , replied Eustace. The coached shrugged and said , “Get ready then , time’s almost up now . And do your best lads . It’s a big game today!”

It was a do-or-die moment , wait no ! do-or-letthelegacyburndown moment. The second half begun. The crowd erupted into huge cheers when Eustace walked in the court with Aiden . From a distance Evanna waved a best of luck for her best mates .

“Show time”, Eustace mumbled. The whistle blew off and the Cheetahs tried their best to not let the other team score. After some minutes, with a thud a player of the Cheetah falls down resulting as a foul by the Pirates, which earns the Cheetahs a free throw penalty. This could certainly be the moment. The heat of the moment was very high. Everyone’s eyes was set on the free throw which was about to be done by Aiden . With assiduousness he lifts the ball and dunks it into the basket and earns the Cheetahs a point , making it 25-16.The Pirates violated several other restrictions making the score 25-20. And while playing offence Eustace scores a goal earning 3 points. But now only one quarter was remaining – 8 miutes . If in 8 minutes the Cheetahs could score then they’d win else Pirates would. Glimmers of hope that had risen in the pirates were diminishing slowly.

As the final quarter begins anticipation rises in the audience .Just when four minutes are remaining the balls passes the mid-court line to the Cheetah’s side. The defensive players become hyper-active at this but so the offensive. With great troubles the ball is passed to Eustace; the pint guard in that game. Methodically – using his best skill, Eustace dunks the ball into the basket from the D-shaped arc earning righteous 3 points ! All the audience erupts into huge cheers as this goal is scored . Just the the whistle blows off and the game ends on 25-26 getting the Cheetahs the lead ; again or as usual. A pang of annoyances rises in the Pirates seeing the whole school in favor of the pirates but that was it – popularity !  “Finally”, Aiden mutters to Eustace. “Legacy continues”, says  Eustace with a smirk.
