"Ms. Y/L/N!" I quickly snapped out of my trance.

"Yes, Mr. Y/T/N, I'm sorry." The teacher looked at me, with fury in his eyes.

"Your not sorry!" I was shocked.

"I'm sorry sir it's just that I-" He cut me off.

"Principals office, now! I do not tolerate kids who don't pay attention in my class!"

"Fine then!" I yell, slamming my hands down.

I jumped out of my seat and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind me. I stomped through the halls heading for the door out of the school.

"I hate this fucking school." I said to myself.
I walked outside and sat on the parking lot curb, with my face in my arms. As I was sitting there, wheeping of frustration, I heard a voice in the distance.

"Hey, are you alright?"

My head shot up, looking around me.

"Hello, who's there?"

"Behind you." The voice said.

I looked behind me to see a tall, brown haired boy in a trench coat, standing behind me. He smelt like cigarettes, as he had one in his fingers.

"Hi I'm Eddie," He lifted his hat and bowed to me.

"I heard someone crying so I came to see. Are you ok?" He asked, calmly.

"Yea, just my teacher."

"What happened with your teacher, did you get in trouble?" He laughed.

"Yea, I guess. Why do you care, We don't even know each other."

"Hey, I just like looking out for people." He smiled at me as I looked back down at the ground.

"Come on, what's wrong, what did you get in trouble?"

He placed one hand on my shoulder. I looked at him, as tears dripped down my cheeks.

"He yelled at me to go to the principals office, he doesn't understand that I have a hard time paying attention, that's all. He always treats me like i'm stupid."

"Well, I'm sure he didn't mean it, teachers jobs can be stressful sometimes."

He placed his hand on my cheek, wiping my tears with his thumb.

"Cheer up, we could ditch school. Nobody would care anyways, right?" he suggests, winking at me.

"I would like that." I say, sniffling.

"Come on then, let's get outta here."

He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the parking lot.

"Hey, what's your name by the way?"

"Y/N."

"I like that name." I blushed at the compliment, and look at him.

I think me and Eddie will be great friends.
