"I feel like daphne from scooby doo." Kylie states as they walk into the town. "I feel like I'm about to solve a mystery."
"Yeah, and I'm Fred." Dalton agrees.
"No you're not!" She snorts. "Nick is definitely Fred and you are for sure Shaggy." She finishes.
"Why can't I be Fred?" Dalton frowns.
"Cause you don't give off Fred vibes?" She looked at him as if he was an idiot. "You give off major Shaggy Rogers vibes." She rolls her eyes.
"But-"
"Will you shut up, Dalton? She's not gonna let you be right." Nick states as he shakes his head. "We're here anyways."
"Carly, Wade? Hello?" Dalton calls out as he opens the gas station doors slightly and pokes his head through.
"Anyone there?" Kylie asks him.
"Man, there's music playin', but I don't think anyone's here." He scratched his chin.
"No one's here." Nick shook his head as he looked around, one hand in his pocket and the other in Kylie's hand.
"Well shit." Kylie sighed.
"Hey, where you going?" Dalton asks as Nick starts to walk away, pulling Kylie along with him.
"To that grocery store we passed." He said. "I'm thirsty."
"What about your sister and Wade, man?"
"Maybe they're at the store." Nick shrugged.
"Nick," Kylie stopped in her tracks, slightly pulling his hand back as he continued to walk.
"What?" He looked between her and Dalton.
"Well, I don't know, man." Dalton answered. "I mean, we came all this way. You don't think we should just look for 'em?" He asked.
"All right, check it. Kylie and I will go this way, all right? And you go that way." Nick sighs. "We don't find them, we meet back here."
"Okay." Dalton nods, turning and walking the other way.

"Hey! I'm looking for my sister and her boyfriend. Uh, they were looking for a fan belt or something." Nick announced as they walked back up to the gas station.
"I don't think I've seen 'em" the man shakes his head.
"This is the only gas station in town, right?" Kylie asks him.
"That's right." He looks her up and down.
"Yeah, then they were definitely here." She murmured to herself as she pulled Nick forward as she walked closer.
"I just told ya, didn't see 'em" the man grumbles.
"Does somebody else work here?" Nick speaks up.
"No, I own the station and I would've seen 'em."
"Well, we were just here a few minutes ago and you didn't see us. You weren't even here." Kylie narrows her eyes at the man.
"Sorry, I can't help you." The man stop about a foot in front of her, maybe less.
A muffled scream catches Nicks attention.
"What was that?" He questioned.
"Nothing. It was just my dog."
"Actually, you know what?" The man speaks up after a few moments. "My brothers in town for a while. He could've helped your sister out."
He kneeled on the ground. "He could be up at the house."
"No, my friend went up there earlier." Nick told him.
"Really? Well, maybe he ran into my brother up there, then."
"Wanna head up to the house?" The man makes a gesture with his hand as he stands up straight again.
"Yeah, whatever." Nick nods hesitantly, grabbing kylies hand tightly.
"So, uh, what's your sister look like anyway?" The man asks as they begin to walk slowly.
"Nick! Kylie! Nick, help me!" The sound of Carlys screams and shrieks fill the air.
Nick spins his head to look at the man just as the man swung a knife at him.
Kylie shrieked, falling back onto the ground when Nick pushed her back.
"Please help me! I'm down here!"
Nick quickly pulled Kylie up, dragging into the gas station and shutting the door.
"Nick!"
"Carly?!"
"I'm downstairs!"
"Carly! Holy fuck!" Kylie gasped as she finally broke through the door. "Nick, I found her!"
Nick ran in as Kylie began to unwrap Carlys hands.
"Jesus." He sighed out, beginning to unwrap her other hand.
"Watch my finger, watch my finger." She gasps quietly.
"Holy shit." Kylies eyes widen at the sight of the tip of Carlys finger completely cut off and bleeding profusely.
"Oh, my god. He did this to you?" Nick asked her.
"Where is he?" She asks, receiving to answer from the couple as they frantically looked for something to unchain her legs from the chair (?) she was chained to. "Where is he?!" She shouted.
"I locked him out." Nick stated.
"Where the hell's Wade?" Kylie questions.
"I don't know. He went into the house! This place is a freak show." She exclaimed.
"Nick..." Kylie trailed off quietly.
Receiving no answer she grabbed his arm. "Nick!"
"What? What's wrong?" He asks frantically.
"Dalton went into that house too." She bit the skin around her thumb.
