I had to double take to make sure I wasn't tripping , my mouth dropped seeing a childhood friend of mine
He looked like he's changed a lot , he was tall with tattoos , & his eyes hung low , his skin got a little brown too bc I remember him being pale ash .
" heyyy " I smiled taking one of my headphones out so I could pay more attention clearly
" wsp lil Denny or if I can even call you that anymore , you done grew up " he said laughing showing his pearly whites
" I can say the same to you what happy to that ole beedabees head ahh boy " I said jokingly as he smacked his teeth shoving me a bit
I used to joke on him all the time for not having a hair cut but he got some nice waves now , I actually found him pretty attractive

At the end of the day , I waited outside for Kobe bc he wanted to drive me home for the first time
He usually stays chat it up with his hbs before he leaves so I knew it was going to be a lil while , I would go sit with him but his hbs a lame to me tbh but he doesn't see it
As I'm waiting I feel a tap on my should causing me to look up from my phone & turn my head . " hey bab- " I paused my words because seeing it was Mont && not Kobe
" Oh Heyy " I said giving him a small smile
" why you standing out here ? " he asked looking down at me
" I'm waiting for my boyfriend , he's taking me home "
" Wrdd ? Lil Denny got a mans now Okayy . " he said laughing " I got to see this , Im waiting with you " he continued
" Oh no you really shouldn't "

" Because he's- " " Yo Denver " I got interrupted by Kobe yelling my name , he started walking close to me with a mug on his face , I sighed knowing a scene was about to happen
He finally reached us & said " Who's this ? "
" This is Damonte a old friend of mine " I said honestly
" Right , we'll old friend ima have to kindly ask you to stay away from my girl " he mugged at Mont
Mont set there with that stupid nonchalant face like he always does and replied " It ain't up to me it's up to Denny " the walked off chuckling
I smirked almost laughing bc how you let him disrespect you like that lol but then quickly change my face " babe- "
" shut up get in the car " he said interrupting me then walking towards his brand new black hell cat
I almost popped him bc I think tf not , but I followed him to the car hearing him unlock it so I got in
" Don't talk to that nigga no more " he said starting the car , I didn't respond I just set back && put my seatbelt on .
The car ride to my house was pretty quite bc it was awkward, which was disappointing saying it was our first car ride together alone
But he dropped me off at home , I kissed him goodbye && went inside to my two siblings & Ms . Indy knocked out on the couch , I rolled my eyes then went to my siblings so I can help them with there home work
