Chapter 2: Devastated

It was now noon and chase just finished patrolling around the town and now started to head back to the lookout. But just before chase would come back he thought of a idea.

Chase: POV

As as i started to go back to the lookout and a idea quickly came into my mind. As i quickly stopped my cruiser and looked if there was any pink or rose flowers on the ground. And sure enough i found a perfect one. A azalea flower just laying on the floor next to a tree.

As i hopped off my cruiser and approached the azalea flower. I plucked one of them and quickly gone back to my cruiser and drove back to the lookout.

At the Lookout

Third Person: POV

As chase was driving back to the lookout, zuma had already made a plan on how to break chase's heart. As everyone was doing there things skye who is still sitting infront of the lookout waiting for chase to come back. While for zuma who was in the lookout waiting for the opportunity.

As time pass they started to hear a cruiser's engine coming closer, chase was arriving at the lookout at any moment which means zuma's plan is working.

"Alright, time to call skye to come in.." Zuma said while shouting skye's name. Which caught skye's attention. As skye was entering the lookout, chase had just arrived and parked his cruiser and turned into a pup-house.

"Yea zuma? What do you wa- Mmph!" Before skye could finish her sentence zuma quickly kissed skye in the lips, and perfect timing chase had entered the lookout.

"Hey skye? I wanna tell that i-" Chase was shocked that he didnt even finish his sentence and saw skye and zuma kissing infront of chase. But then skye manages to broke out the kiss and ran quickly to chase.

"C-Chase please do something, zuma just kissed me for no reason.." Skye said while chase only responded with a frown.

"You know skye? You could had done that in a more private place..." Chase said with disappointment and walked out of the lookout. While skye who was heartbroken.

"Zuma! Why did you do that to me?! You know i dont love you!" Skye said with a angry tone. While zuma who just laughed.

"Oh dont worry il make you love me.." Zuma said while skye who started to felt dizzy.

"W-Whuat.. D-Did.. You.. D-Do.." After that skye blacked out.

"My plan worked, i'd just hope that love potion worked..." Zuma said while he picked up skye and put her on a bean bag and waited.

After waiting skye started to wake up from her slumber. As she lifted her head and looked around and saw zuma laying next to her. Which caught her eyes.

"Hey there, Cutie~" Skye said in a yet seductive tone.

"O-Oh your awake.. wait d-did you called me cutie?" Zuma said while skye nodded which made zuma shocked.

"Soo~ do you have a girlfriend or no?~" Skye said while zuma was happy that the potion worked.

"Oh no i dont have one. You could be the first~" Zuma said

"-giggles- i love you zuma..." Skye said before snuggling zuma.

"Heh.. I love you too skye.. Yes! It worked! " zuma said while he snuggled with skye and after awhile both of them fall asleep.

Chase: POV

As i was in my pup-house crying. As i just witness my crush kissing someone who is zuma.

"I knew that she dosent like me.. she obviously like zuma.. more cooler.. and not so bossy like me..." As i said while tears was running down and soaking my fur.

As i kept crying i heard someone knocking at my door.

"Hey chase? Is me marshall.. Uhm i-is everything alright in there? We heard you crying.." Marshall said

"Y-Yea e-everything's.. F-Fine.." As i said

"O-Okay then.. b-bye chase.." Marshall as i heard him left i continued crying.

"I-I should j-just move on and forget skye.. theres probably more beautiful pups out there rather than skye.." As i heard a thud i checked by back and saw the book that i made that book was only filled with my moments with skye.

"I g-guess this book that i made is useless now.." As i picked the book and throw it on the trash. Since i was gonna share that book with skye once i confessed to her. But i guess it was useless anyway.

"M-Maybe i-its j-just a d-dream.. y-yea a-a d-dream.. m-maybe i should see skye.." As i wiped my tears off my cheeks i left my puphouse and acted normal.

As i walk back into the lookout, to my suprise it wasn't a dream at all. Skye and zuma was snuggling each other.

"C-Come o-on t-this is just a d-dream.." As i repeatedly slapped myself it was no use it was not a dream. It was real.

As i walk back to my pup-house. I was about to breakdown infront of my friends. But i cant show my soft side. They think that im weak. As i entered my pup-house all sad and depressed. I laid down and closed by eyes hope for the best that it wasn't real. But for now i-i was..

"I was devestated.."
