The sun so far peeping inside was now welcomed with the open windows and that's when the room door banged with a thud!
"Yaar Papa please na", came a voice shouting echoing in the house
"Yaar my lovely daughter, lower you voice child.. you don't wanna make me deaf so soon Bela, do you?", Raghav said
"Oh c'mon dad, you see I'm a doctor?", Bela said going downstairs
"Yeah yeah, a gynecologist and not an ENT doctor.. so I would no way give my ears to you", He glared at Bela
"Okay okay, I know.. papa don't change the topic", Bela shouted remembering something
"Fine, now what?", Raghav asked
"Let's enjoy in the evening, what say?", Bela grinned at her thought
"It's Sunday darling, supposed to be our Father - Daughter day remember?", Raghav glared at Bela
Bela looked at him in Aww seeing her cutie Dad, Raghav Sharma.. they where more of friends than he being Bela's father over the years. Ever since Bela knew world it was just her Dad after her Mom passed away with health issues when she was just 7 years old.
He pampered Bela way to much that she's the only he ever have and he's the one she ever have.. Her Dad, Her king!!
"I know papa, but you see it's my profession which at times wouldn't matter for time and I gotta be there at the hospital in the next one hour.. there's an operation which I had to perform today", She sighed
"It's a Sunday Bela", He said
"It's a C-section papa", Bela shrugged
"Ok see it's just the matter of few hours ok? I'll be here by may be around 3 or so and we'll go out then?", Bela beemed with her idea
"Fine, but better be on time ok?", He asked
"Sure sure", Bela said kissing her dad's cheek and left to work in her car
She reached her hospital and was being greeted by the other staff to which she replied everyone with her ever charming smile.. well, people say that!
"Whasupp baby girl?", Came a voice and Bela smiled wide
"Oh I thought I wouldn't see you for a week now", Bela smirked turning around
"It's Vishakha Khanna here darling, you think that breakup with that kid affect me?", Vish asked
"Then why did you even date that kid?", Bela raised her eyebrow
"He was cute, but you see he isn't my type.. so wouldn't work out", Vish shurgged
"Anyways, what's today's plan?", Vish added
"You know dad right? He already threw me plenty glares for coming to hospital today also.. so gotta make up in the evening, join us", Bela smiled
"No no, I have better plans.. you carry on!!", Vish smirked
"And may I know what are they?", Bela raised her eyebrow
"Umm.. nothing actually, just going to Mom", Vish said softly
Vish's parents where divorced when she was 19 and since she was a major by then she was given the choice of staying with her mother or father. She ofcourse wanted both of her parents, but now staying with both of them on and off.
"He isn't at town for a few weeks so I thought I'll stay with Mom till then", Vish said referring to her mother's second husband
"You know he isn't bad", Bela said
