Mahir see Bela looking at him and an unknown smirk formed his lips seeing how she wasn't seeing but gawing him..
"If you are done checking me out then please, I have to leave", Mahir smirked
Bela looked at Mahir for a brief second not expecting him to say such. Yes, she found him too attractive that for the first time she wasn't able to take her eyes off from someone but his comment formed an instant frown between her eyes and whatever little, tiny attraction she had a minute back flew away instantly.
"Well, I don't think you are worth for that either.. kindly excuse me", Bela smirked walking past Mahir
"How dare you?", Mahir groaned when anger rushed within him
She just snapped at him? At him? Mahir Sehgal?
"Oh please, I admit you look good but that doesn't mean you have the access to this so called arrogance which I can see dropping from your face.. by the way it was both of our mistake but sorry for dashing with you", Bela said calmly
"Ofcourse, it's your mistake", Mahir rolled his eyes
"Then where wear your eyes mister? You could have walked properly", Bela glared
"Ofcourse not gawing at anyone", Mahir was quick enough
Bela looked at him making her anger well evident on her face to which Mahir smirked within.
"Yes I was starting at you, now what?", Bela asked folding her arms to her chest
Mahir looked at her quite impressed as none could openly admit staring at someone this way.
Although for a brief moment he felt stunned by her response, he quickly covered it with his poker face and shot a glare at her.
"You.. just get lost", Mahir turned around
"No one is even interested to talk to either", Bela said and walked away
"How dare she? She's the only one so far who could have the guts to speak to me this way. Mannerless!"
Mahir mumbled moving ahead and left the place reaching home.
It was night post dinner when Mahir was in his room working on his laptop while he heard Sumi call him.
"Yes Mom", Mahir answered looking at his laptop
"Please come along tomorrow", Sumi asked
"Mom no, I don't wanna attend any boring family functions.. no way", Mahir declared
"But Mahir, it's Andy's friend Mr. Raichand's daughter marriage reception", Sumi said
"So what? Why would I want to come to someone's reception?", Mahir asked annoyed now
"Mahir, he personally asked about you, it wouldn't be nice if you won't show up", Sumi said
"Mom I can least do is call and congratulate on phone but you know I don't wanna come there", Mahir said
"What is it Sumi?", Came Andy's voice
"Nothing much Andy", Sumi said slowly
"Oh yes Mahir, it's Mr. Raichand's daughter reception tomorrow and he personally invited our family.. so incase you have any meetings just postpone to the next day", Andy said
"Dad but..", Mahir was saying when he interrupted
"No buts Mahir, I want your presence there.. just come wish them and leave if you ar'nt comfortable but just come", Andy said and he simply nodded
