Asami's pov

"Alright, pencils down."mr. Tenzin began. I lifted my head up from the exam

"Please take your final exams to the back of the classroom"he said

"Final grades will be posted in two weeks"he said while I grabbed my stuff from the table into my bag

"Hey, you all good?"opal asked kneeling down facing me

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be"I responded facing her

"We are so partying tonight"opal said excited

"Oh, my god"I chuckled putting my supplies in my bag

Time skip to asami and opal's place

"This is way too much"I chuckled

"No, this is exactly the right amount"opal responded still putting lipstick on my lips

"You're getting it all over my face"i said

"That's the idea"opal said putting away the lipstick

"Wow no, opal"I said looking at the mirror

The bell rang

"Cabs early, let's go"she said while I was fixing my lipstick, opal left to the front door

"Sami, it's a package for you"opal said in the background closing the door

I walked out of the room to see opal taking the card out of the envelope

"Why didn't you tell me there was danger"she began walking towards me with the package in her left hand and reading the card in her right

"Why didn't you warn me"she said

"Ladies know what to guard against"she said as I stopped in front of opal

"Because they read novels that tell them of these tricks"we both finished and she gave me the package and placed the card down on the table

"That's a quote from Tess of the D'Urbervilles"I said opening the package

"Oh my god"I said in surprise

"These must be from korra"I said opening one of the books

"Do you, I mean"I struggled

"These are incredible"I said flipping the page

"Wow, grey"opal said

"Opal, these and first editions"I said

"I can't, this is too much"I was speechless looking at the books

"I can't, accept these, I have to send them back"I said placing the books down on the table where the card was

*beep*

We both heard a loud horn outside

"That's the cab"she began, putting her arms on my shoulder

"Okay, are you ready"she asked as I took a sip my wine

"Are you ready to go"she asked again

"Yes, yes, very"I responded back

"Let's get out of here"she said

I drank the last bit of wine
