Chapter 4: Alone

Catrinna and I walked and just continued to walk. It was just us now, nobody..."You okay?" I said,"Yeh, I'm fine." we went back to the settlment so we can just rest and tell everyone about the lost but when we got there....we saw the most tragic thing

The entire settlment had been laded to waste by surveyors. "What are we gonna do Sam?" there was only one thing we could do. We left with all of our supplies and there was only one tent so this could be good:). As we walked i tried to make friendly conversation because i could tell that Catrinna was terrified of staying out of the village for this long. The whole time so far she had been hunched to my arm.

"So what did you do before the outbreak, you know, like you're job?" I asked in a attentive voice. "Oh me..I was a accountant for people who went to court. What about you?" She seemed shy, but it was ok. She was scarred."How did you eventually get to the village?" i asked"My friend brought me hear after the outbreak because the captain was his best friend so he allowed him and me in, but then I saw u come in. I knew something was special about you..." at that moment i realized that i loved her. I loved her and I would do my best to keep her safe. "Well at least your safe. As long as I'm hear your safe. don't worry." I tried to sound as passionate as possible "Thanks, I'm glad you're hear.

We had to stop for the night because it was too dark. Catrinna set up the tent while i made a fire. I cooked a chicken we killed on the way here. So we ate then we both got into the tent. As we layed down I faced one way while she faced my back. She then tapped my shoulder i turned around and Catrinna said"Can we snuggle?"
