MATTHEW'S POV

I woke up, and looked around, a headache suddenly hitting me. This is the place where we filmed Mangled. Why am I back here? Oh, right. Nate- wait, no, Natemare dragged me here and..pushed me down the stairs.

I shut my eyes as I groaned in pain. I opened my eyes again as I heard someone humming. I froze and tried to focus on the voice, that definitely sounds like Nate. But I know it isn't him. I tried to move but obviously, I couldn't. I was tied up and was bound to the chair.

I was trying to know where the hell it was coming from. But I couldn't. It was echoing all around the room. I looked everywhere but there was nobody there. It was scary, I have to say. I only could see a little bit, since there was a single light bulb above my head.

I stopped and quickly tensed up as I felt hands grip my shoulders firmly. I heard a very faint chuckle. My shoulders were getting pushed down as he leaned to my ear, his warm breath hitting my face.

"How was your nap, Matthew?" He whispered.

I shook my head and tried to wriggle out of his grip. I heard him growl as he pulled back. He gripped my shoulders harder, making me wince. I continued to try and get out of his grip which was a huge mistake. I heard him growl again and felt his right hand release my shoulder. I felt relieved, but not until the same hand gripped my throat tightly, cutting my breathing entirely.

I stopped moving. My thoughts were racing, I couldn't breathe and that was slowly getting to me. I teared up but didn't move, knowing it'd tire me more. So I just sat on the chair as I panicked. He leaned next to my ear again. Was I gonna pass out? Is Nate ever gonna come back? Questions filled my head as I felt myself slowly getting tired.

"Are going to be good and behave, Matthew?" He said in a soft voice.

I nodded and he released the hand that was choking me and the one that was gripping my shoulder. He stroked and ruffled my hair gently as I sat there, very uncomfortable. But it was better than getting choked out, so, I just let him touch my hair for a bit. My body relaxed and my eyes were getting heavier as he continued the act of stroking my hair.

"Don't sleep just yet, Matthew." He said and my head shot up.

I watched him leave and walk somewhere, I didn't know where, so I sat on the chair, confused. I was thinking if I was gonna die. I wondered if I would ever see the actual Nate and all my other friends again, I got more scared and worried as the seconds passed by.

I saw him walking towards me with a..that's not- no, no, NO. That can't be a knife, please tell that isn't-

"You scared of this knife, Matthew?" He asked, while raising it up.

"G-Get that away from me!" I shouted.

He stopped in front of me and I looked up at him. He smiled and placed the sharp end of the knife to my throat. My eyes widened and I shook my head slowly, tears pooling my eyes again. He looked at me and put the knife on the floor. He stood back up and cupped my face with his hand.

"I won't hurt you that badly just yet." I felt my tears rolling down my cheeks and sniffled.

He sighed and wiped one of my tears away with his thumb. I looked away and and he started to stroke my hair again. I sniffled again and he kneeled in front of me, wrapping his arms around me. I tensed up and looked at him, he was..hugging me. He rubbed my back and that somehow calmed me down.

After a bit, he stood back up and picked the knife up. I looked at him and he smiled. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my shoulder and I screamed, shutting my eyes. He quickly shut me up by covering my mouth with his hand.

"Hush, Matthew, don't want people hearing you, do we?" He said.

I started crying and shook my head, as I felt blood trickling down my shoulder. He uncovered my mouth and my head hung low. Sobs filled the room and he lifted my head with his finger, I looked at him with glassy eyes. He smiled and backhanded me. I winced and shut my eyes.

"Don't cry too much yet, I haven't gotten to the real part yet." He said as I heard him walk away.

After a while, I heard footsteps walking towards me. My head shot up again as my breaths were getting quicker and I felt myself shake. The world was getting blurrier by the seconds. Thoughts were racing. I couldn't focus. I started crying again, but this time, it was way louder. My wails and coughs filled the room.

"Matt, what happened? Are you-"

"DON'T HURT ME, PLEASE!" I screamed as I sobbed.

He quickly hugged me and rubbed my back. I tried to get away from him as I pleaded. He gently stroked my hair and rubbed my back.

"He's not here anymore, it's me, Nate..Matt, it's alright.." He cooed as he rubbed my back.

I slowly calmed down and looked at him, that's Nate. No tear marks..his skin isn't pale anymore, that's Nate. He looked back at me and wiped my tears away, smiling gently.

"Nobody's going to hurt you, I'm here, Mare isn't." He said in a soft voice.

I nodded and he stood up, walking behind me. My thoughts started racing again, until I felt the rope getting untied. I moved my arms and winced slightly, since I wasn't moving my arms at all before Nate came. I was about to stand up before he pushed me back down.

"Before you go anywhere, we gotta get that shit fixed." He said, pointing at my shoulder.

I softly laughed at the way he phrased it but nodded anyway.
