|ROLAND|

"We have to retreat! The Demon King's army is overwhelming us! We can't win!" I screamed on top of my lungs as I cross swords with the armies of the Demon King from the west which is led by one of his Generals, Abaddon the Death, the ruler of the West.

"Let's open up a path for our armies, Roland, then we'll retreat!" The hero of Camelot, Lionheart said as the two of us cover each other's back.

Just like sir Lionheart, I too am a Hero from the Kingdom of Enthopia, wielding my sword Durandal to protect my people from the Demon King's wrath.

I slashed the enemy infront of me and get close to Lionheart.

I feel so tired right now, I don't know if we could still get out of this place, I don't feel fear for myself, I'm afraid that my comrades will lose their lives in this battle.

"Lionheart, cover me while I cast a spell then we'll retreat." I said and started to chant my incantations.

"With the blessings of light bestowed by the Gods, grant me thy strength to destroy my foes-"

"Limit Breaker!"

As soon as I finished my chant, I can feel the strong surge of power flowing all throughout my body and the light aura is visible even through naked eyes.

This spell is called Limit breaker. Using the power of light, it will grant me additional 200% of my base strength and grants me the power to purify any negative energies. It is a strong spell but I can only use this spell thrice a day. I am using a power more than my body should be able to handle that is why if I use it more than three times, my body will suffer from it's recoil.

"Are you done?" Lionheart asked as he continues to protect me while I was chanting.

"Yes, but I only got ten minutes left, this is my third time using my Limit Breaker, one more and I'll be doomed." I replied.

"That's good enough, let's go!" He said as he started chanting one of his spell while charging at the enemies. "Oh, God of the Sun, Amaterasu, grant me thy strength of your flames-"

"Blazing sword!" After Lionheart chanted, his holy sword Gladius was covered by fire that can burn everything in it's path.

He's still as fearless as ever, I just can't help but to admire his courage and brilliance.

Lionheart and I, charged towards the enemy to create a path for our armies, the two of us have no choice but to lead the army to retreat or else we'll suffer a heavy casualty. We didn't expect that the demons are prepared to the point where the power of Demon General Abaddon is not necessary. They were able to force us to the corner just by out numbering us. This is indeed an unlucky day for us.

We manage to retreat with our forces but we lost a few. The demons got us real good this time, even I suffered a few wounds.

After we secure that we're already far from the enemy territory, we parted ways with sir Lionheart and his armies as they march to their home kingdom, Camelot and my armies went back to Enthopia.

Before I go back, I decided to stay outside the kingdom to make sure none of the enemies were following us. I ordered my men to return without me and report to the King that we failed and I'm guarding the boundary between the Kingdom and the Demon territory.
