Soulmate AU

Desc: it's a world full of people with soulmates, it might be anyone, but one day, when you're with your soulmate and see their eyes, suddenly you'll get a vision, that vision will show you the reason why you're chosen as soulmates. That's how everyone identify their soulmates.

(a/n: I'm in love with the soulmate AUs so I had to write one, but I tried something different, if you're confused, the reason will be in a vision (like a movie in your head) and you'll see it while no one else (other than your soulmate) can, they have a vision too, their own reason, it might be like someday you might've crossed paths and had a connection, or a little crush on each other while sneaking glances, just anything. (also this is happening in 1918)

Three Thousand days of friendship zoomed past his eyes, his chocolate eyes, which held so many emotions. All the days they spent together training under the midday sun.

The time they sneaked out of the dormitories to eat snacks in the night, the man in old shabby coat with tails, selling bread in a stall laughing at them running together towards him, as he very well  knew they were here again after escaping the warden.

They huffed as they stopped and paid their money to buy bread that was a Hundred times better than their food at the dorms. Running to a secure spot to avoid soldiers who might be in a stroll to catch escaping trainees like them.

Hiding safely as they hushed and laughed at each other, feeling the thrill in the air after disobeying the rules. "taehyung" he called, looking over to his side "shall we head back?"

The man in front of him shook his head no, telling him to stay some more, as jungkook nodded, enjoying the night breeze under the oak tree that was cut down, but the roots still big and intact.

Or the other time, they were caught lazing and playing around and the commander made them carry bricks tied in ropes behind their backs and run around the field a 50times.

They groaned as they reached the 45th lap, feeling dizzier by the passing minute but didn't dare to stop with the hawk like eye watching over them to make one more mistake, so the laps would be 50 more.

After finishing the 50th the soldier leaving them alone and they slumped next to the wooden barrel, leaning on each other's back, but never once regretting the fun they had while playing, this was worth every single laugh they let out.

Then this other vivid time when they rose in ranks, getting more pay and finally had some good food after reaching a nearby town, away from the training fields, the others never bothered to approach these two as they were always in their own world, they were inseparable.

Every single memory of them together whished past both their eyes, their struggles, their first meet, the fun and thrill of sneaking out, wearing each other's clothes, the adrenaline while training their hard to be amazing soldiers.

Everything was beautiful, jungkook and taehyung held hands, letting out a single stray tear slowly drip past their cheeks, as they knew that moment they were soulmates.

Their reason was their friendship, their amazing time together that was displayed before their eyes was enough to know that they were soulmates.

"it's you" jungkook said as taehyung held jungkook's cheek in his palm, the younger's head laying in taehyung's lap

"yes" taehyung said as he coughed, "its too soon, I am well aware, but" he started again and said "I love you" as his black eyes looked into the brown ones.

"I love you too," jungkook repeated as he sighed and said "I know I can not say this again, so I love you, I love you, I love you so much" he spoke,
"I want you to be my soulmate in all my lives" as he knew, what more can they do, the war they fought in was now over as they had won, they had no family who would miss them, except each other, then again, what more can they do, with a sword in the his chest and an arrow in taehyung's heart

They kissed as they slowly closed their eyes in each other's arms
