The Tavern was quiet, the Netherbanes sat at tables, taking with each other or eating quietly. The smells of food, smoke, fire, mud and sweat was strong. It wasn't overwhelming for the young purple hellhound sitting at the bar thought, these scents were something she was use to.
"Ria you got to eat and also maybe take a bath right after" One of the bartender said, as he pushed back his raven colored hair from his eyes.
Ria looked up at him, her ears flopply against her head, her short plum colored hair was messy, and the fur that covered her dog shaped legs was cover in mud. Her sky blue eyes looked so exhausted and so happy at the same time. Her tail hug off the stool, slowly swaying back and forth.
"Daddy and auntie are gonna be home soon!" Ria asked, rubbing her caramel skin, with her hand that was smudge with dirt. Only making a bigger mess of herself.
"Really! Can you smell em' with that super sniffer of yours?" Wayne asked booping Ria's nose with his chocolatey finger. Wayne opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by the sound of the door opening and yelling following it.
Ria quickly turned around in her seat. Seeing her dad walk into the Tavern with her auntie and the other two strange scents, she had smelled with following them. One girl and one boy.
The girl smelled like endermen, magic, potions, blood and she had a strange scent of Nether on her. The smell of magic was always weird to Ria, the stronger the mage or witch was the stronger the scent was but Ria could never find a scent that was similar to it in the slightest.
The boy smelled magic and endermen too! But also he smelled of blood, dirt, and the smell of the undead was on him too. There was also another scent it was extremely faint and she couldn't recognize it but it was there.
Ria decided that the two strangers strange smells weren't that important for the moment. She quickly climbed off the chair she sat on and ran to her dad.
"Daddy!" Ria yelped happily as tackled his leg, and hugged him quickly after.
"There's my little pup" Kane said, pulling her off his leg and holding her in his arms.
"I missed you Daddy!" Her tail wagging quickly, as she hugged her dad tightly, licking his cheek. Kane chuckled, kissing her forehead and rubbing her back.
"Aw! Kane you didn't say you had a daughter! She's so cute! What's her name?" The girl said, looking at Ria. Ria looked at her, staring at the black side of her face confused.
Ria looked over to her, now noticing that the half of the girls face was black, with a purple eye. Her hair was also purple like her eye! But now Ria could seem a weak scent of Nether on her.
"It didn't come up I guess" Kane said, but his voice said otherwise. Ria glanced up at her dad, looking at him with confused eyes.
"My name- name Ria!" Ria let go of Kane's neck and held out her hand to them, like she had seen Kane do several times before to new persons.
"Hi Ria! I'm Stella, and this is Rain" she took Ria's hand, shaking it and gestured back to the raven haired boy behind her with her other hand.
"Rain?" Ria looked out the slightly opened door, confused. Ciara face palmed.
"No that's not what she meant Ria" Ciara said, slightly chuckling at the small girls confused expression.
"His name is Rain" Stella said again, gesturing to the boy behind her again, who had a slightly amused expression.
"Like a storm?" Ria asked, titling his head to the side. She looked at the boy again, he didn't smell like rain or any type of storm.
"Yes exactly!" Stella said, smiling widely at her. Ria felt her tail start to wag again, she understood now.
