chapter 2 Milly's surprise

Milly was smiling happy, preparing for her shift for the day, she was humming the daycare theme song as she was standing Infront of the mirror brushing her hair, her tail wagging happy, she placed the soft ears onto her head and made sure her skirt was right, making her way towards the daycare. "Sunny? Good morning!" "Morning sunshine!" sun his joyful tone and happy smile greeted her. "Did you rest for another day of fun?" he joyfully asked" "I did" Milly nodded. But last night I thought to hear strange noises trough the building, as if someone was sneaking around. "I thought it was you" sun looked surprised upon hearing Milly say those things. "Why didn't you check?" "Because the lights were out, outside of the daycare..."

"did you guys hear that noise last night?" Roxanne asked as she walked up with the others towards the stage. "It wasn't me" Chica looked at the others, usually it was her making the weird noises. "I'll inform one of the guards after the show maybe they can sweep the complex to make sure there's no intruder" Freddy said as he had a slight worried feeling.

Milly was refilling the art supplies cabinet humming along happy with the music from the daycare, her tail wagging happy from left to right. "Hey sun? have you cleaned up the white papers?" "No, I have not sunshine, they should be in the closet with the other art supplies" Milly tried her best to find the papers, but to no success. "You sure you didn't move them around sun? they're all gone! I just refilled them yesterday!" sun came walking up to Milly, looking confused. "Someone must have taken them!" Milly got a slight feeling of being watched in her back, being worried someone had intruded the building and was stealing their supplies. "I am going to the security office right now!" Milly said in a stern tone.

As Milly rushed towards the main security office, she noticed a couple of maintenance bots missing, something very unlikely but she had no time to worry about a possible outburst from Monty right now, it was important she made a report as soon as she could about a possible intruder which could be a serious threat, what if he would set the building on fire?!
Milly opened the security doors, having the two guards look up surprised at her. "Milly? Why are you here this early? There is no briefing until 9AM" Andreas spoke before taking a sip of his coffee, he was the one who hired Milly almost a year ago, he was very tall, muscular even and he would always wear his hair in a short knot on the back. "Uhm... I need to report something!" she explained her weird night and how some supplies where now missing, having a serious worried look. "we'll ask the others and do a small check up on the camera's, don't worry if there is someone in here, he will either escape today when we open or get caught" Connor said as he fixed his badge, he was the intern of the complex and he just started two months ago, Milly found him quite lazy often, but he was a nice guy. "And why was there no security guy last night? Freddy now had to check, and I was honestly worried" Andreas took another sip of his coffee and got up to start looking at the security footage. "Milly sometimes people call in sick, it happens more often than you think, besides I have been here since the opening and we never had a serious incident at night" "for everything must be a first... you told me the day we met, remember?" Milly gave Andreas a serious look before leaving the security office.

She decided to towards the storage room to get some new paper, making sure to grab an extra packet of white papers in case she had to suddenly refill them again. As she made her way down with the elevator she thought of last night. How safe was she really if something would happen? And what if she wouldn't have her Fazwatch to communicate? She looked at the watch on her arm and gave a nervous sigh. As the doors opened, she walked into the underground storage, immediately getting the feeling, she was not alone.

as Milly walked towards the area, she felt watched, as if someone was right behind her, following her steps... or was it something? Whatever it was she did not desire any need to find out and just wanted to be in and out as fast as she could. "Monty this better not be you trying to make a joke again I am not in the mood today..." she turned around and noticed nobody "Monty?" she sighed and turned around, walking into the supply closet. "you're going crazy over nothing Milly... get yourself together..." she hummed along happy, grabbing the supplies she needed and some extra items, she threw it all together in an empty box and made her way back the elevator, wagging her tail happy.

the day was quite calm, it wasn't a big busy day like a Sunday usually would be, but it was good enough. Milly was even able to leave the daycare and watch Freddy and the crew perform their amazing show. It was exactly one year ago that today she got her first day on the job, and she never expected to feel so much at home, it was as if she got hired and adopted at the same time. As the pizza plex closed she made sure to go by the security office to check up for any updates on last night situation. "Hey Andreas, do you got any updates for me?" "Hey Milly, I was just about to head home but for you I'll make an exception" He smiled. I got Connor to check up on the cameras and possible entrances or break in areas, everything is alright. It was just some weird old robot stuck in the vents. So, nothing to worry about". He gave a kind smile as he nodded. "Also, congratulations! You've been officially employed for a year now" "thank you Andreas" Milly smiled and in her eyes was a big relief visible "I am so relieved to also hear that nothing is wrong, sorry for my worries" "hey nothing Is wrong with being worried, just don't worry in an unnecessary moment, like for example if the glitter containers are empty" Andreas chuckled as he got up and grabbed his coat. "Oh, before I forget!" he mumbled and grabbed a small present from the top of the closet "this is for you, a little present from the guards because we're all happy to have you here. Milly smiled excited upon seeing her present, it wasn't even her birthday! "Thank you!" she quickly opened it up, finding a slim box in it, it was a new laptop. "Really?!" Milly gasped in surprise and looked up at Andreas "a new laptop?" "Well since your last one got some glitter in it... and glue, we figured you would appreciate a new one" Milly smiled thankful and nodded at him. "Thank you, Andreas,"

"I don't feel like this is my area, why can't we go to the arcade?" Monty groaned annoyed as he walked into the daycare. "Because our superstar will be here of course!" Freddy said with determination in his voice. "I don't see her, I do see sun and hear his clean up song, hey let's turn off the lights!" Monty cheered as he looked excited to cause trouble. "If you do that, I'll get you banned from the daycare for good~" the four-animatronics turned around upon hearing Milly her voice. She stood there with her arms crossed and a joyful smirk. "Why are you guys in here? I thought you didn't like the daycare area?" "We came here to surprise you superstar!" Freddy said with a happy tone. "Surprise me? It's not my birthday guys" "no but we're here to celebrate your second birthday!" Milly gave a slightly confused look for a second, only to chuckle and smile "you mean my stay here?" "Yes! You're now officially one year a part of the pizza plex family!" Milly smiled and looked up to them "well then I guess I decide what we do tonight~" "as long as someone turns off the music in this place, I'll make an exception" Monty growled. "Well since the night is early, I was thinking, we could go play Fazer blast?" Milly smiled with a careful look, last time Monty and Roxy got so competitive they accidently broke some attires. But luckily, they all agreed, except for sun who would rather stay at the daycare.

The night was as if Milly indeed had a birthday, enjoying the arcade, food, and her favorite game. "Come on guys one more round so I can finally beat Monty!" Milly cheered being way to excited. "Alright, I'll give you one last time" Monty growled excited as he pulled down his glasses and smirked, you smirked back and wagged your tail excited.

as she played a 1 on 1 battle with Monty her laugh was heard trough the music, she enjoyed every moment of being there and was determined to win the final round, after running around she noticed that she couldn't find Monty anywhere. Milly stood still and looked around herself "Monty?" this was so unlike him to hide at this moment of the game, usually he would keep on chasing or trying to get you. "Milly removed her safety glasses and looked on her watch "uhm guys?" she got no answer back and assumed maybe they were pulling a small prank on her? "Monty if this is a prank it's a lame one... come on..." Milly got a slight bit nervous, being in this situation. she looked up as she heard loud metallic footsteps run her way." Monty?" Milly turned around and released a loud yelp as she jumped aside dodging Monty his attack. "What?!" Milly her eyes widened annoyed, she crawled up and crossed her arms. "Monty are you out of your mind?!" Monty turned around, his red eyes locked on her, like she was his target "M-Monty?" Milly took some steps back, looking up scared at the big animatronic gator. "Monty, you're honestly scaring me, y-you won, okay?" In the hope to calm Monty down, because he for some reason looked upset with Milly, she put her laser gun on the ground, raising her hand and speaking in a calm tone, where the fuck were the others?! This clearly wasn't a funny joke and if they thought it was Milly needed a serious word with them. "Monty stop it!" as Milly yelled at him Monty released a loud scream, charging at Milly. "Okay fuck this!" Milly yelped and started to run back into the maze, trying to find her way out. It was clear to her that Monty was not himself, whatever was wrong... she hoped that the others did not suffer the same problem.

as Milly got out of breath, she noticed she was running around in circles, there was no way out! It was as if someone had changed the maze or something. She decided to climb over the panels, or at least try since she wasn't that big herself. Sadly, before Milly even got the chance to think for another plan she heard Monty growl from behind her, in panic she started to jump and try to climb the panel, around her she heard a lot more noise and chaos, but she ignored the mess of noises and tried to climb the wall as fast as she could, only to feel Monty dig his claw into her leg, yanking her back from the panel. Milly let out a scream of fear before her head hit the wall, losing her consciousness.
