Raghvi: A love Story

Part 5

After a lot of explaining the Deshmukh's understood Mandar's situation. As Mandar is alive and back home it was a pretty happy moment. Pallavi and Mandar spent a lot time of time talking and listening to what he's been doing for the past two years. Pallavi was happy to see the Deshmukh's smile and joyous after such a long time. But she knew there's something missing (or someone). Even after few days past everything was merry at the Deshmukh's. Mandar was happy to see Pallavi around as well. As Pallavi was at the Deshmukh's for almost a few weeks now, it was easy to Mandar to hatch his plan. Without thinking about her marriage to Raghav all he wanted was Pallavi. He started getting her flowers, gifts, etc. He even asked if she would go to a movie, to avoid suspicion, he even took Amruta and Manasi with them. Pallavi was too innocent to understand his vicious plan. To add fuel to the fire, Bada Bindi would go on suggesting him new ideas, which he followed wisely.

 But one day the suggestions went extreme and told Mandar to propose to Pallavi, which he thought thoroughly. It was quiet obvious he was going to propose to Pallavi. But the thing Bada Bindi and Mandar didn't notice was, Aai overheard their conversation. As of Aai it was clear she wouldn't let Mandar ruin Pallavi and Raghav's marriage. So she went to Pallavi's room and told her everything she heard. Pallavi was shocked, the only thing she was thinking about was even when he knew she married Raghav, he still thinks on proposing to her. A few days later, Mandar asked her to meet him. She had the idea what was coming but still agreed on seeing him. When she entered the room, the whole room was decorated, lights were put on, their were roses, rose petals, bouquet and what not. 

But before he could say anything she again tells him everything and makes sure he gets what she's going through. She tells him again that she married Raghav. If anything makes her happy is Raghav, the world seems beautiful when he's with her, the world seems safe when she's in his arms, forgetting the worries of the world. She tells Mandar, the only reason why she was good to him was she wanted to make him feel home. She even explains to him that she can never love Mandar, the way she does Raghav. She never knew him, she was married for two and then was supposedly widowed. She never got a chance of knowing him, understanding him and that Mandar doesn't actually mean anything to her. She doesn't feel the need to explain herself and her marriage to him. She got a life with Raghav, she got to know him, understand him, be by his side when he needed her the most in the world and she does not want to ruin it. She assures him that she's happy by his arrival, but things can never happen the way he wants nor they can go back to the way they were. She has moved on, moved on with Raghav who makes her feel safe, loved, home.

 Amruta was passing through the room when she heard the whole conversation, she had a little idea who's idea this might be. So she rushed to Kaka and told him everything. There wasn't doubt, he believed it that it Kaku's idiotic idea to tell Mandar propose Pallavi. Even if he was mad, he was quit proud of Pallavi to take a firm stand for herself and her marriage, which he thought she wouldn't take for the sake for Baba and Aai. Kaka went to Bada Bindi and slapped her for being so vicious. He told her that he is ashamed to call her his wife due to heinous and idiotic acts.

Pallavi went to her room and sat on her bed thinking about her Raghav. Going through her memories in a cinematic manner, the day Raghav and Pallavi crossed paths, their fights, arguments, challenges, their forced marriage and after all this a blooming of love. The person she hated the most became the most important person for her life. All night she only thought about him, everything he does is so unique, he is unique indeed she thought to herself. A slight blush appeared on her face, when she remembered what she had said about Raghav in the room. It was the first time she ever thought about it, about love, about Raghav, their marriage. She knew the manner of their marriage was no good but that doesn't mean she isn't happy. That moment she realized she actually loves Raghav and would do anything to be with him. All the memories were surfacing in her mind, slowly her eyes started getting heavy and soon she was fast asleep.

It's been days since Raghav last saw Pallavi. Everyday he woke up all he could think of was her. She had become a huge part of his life, she was his life, she was his beloved, how could he not think about her. But still he didn't call her or messaged her, because he knew, he wasn't quiet welcomed by some people in the house. But he would still handle their tantrums for his love for Pallavi, he wouldn't want to upset her. All he wanted was her to be happy, and he would do anything to make his love happy. But he missed her, her perfume, her hazel eyes, her brown hair covering her beautiful face, her absence was killing him.

Next morning, a panchayat is held by Aai, Kaka and Amruta for Pallavi's birthday. As they knew, Baba wouldn't like it, Bada Bindi and Manasi would do anything to ruin Pallavi's birthday, so they kept it a secret and didn't tell anyone. As they were discussing on what to do on her birthday, Kaka noticed that Mandar had left the house with his black file in such a pace as if he was being followed by someone. But where was he going??
