When Mandar gets back home, he heads to Pallavi's room. He tells her that he's met with a lawyer. She was confused, why would he go to a lawyer. He adds that he asked the lawyer to make the annulment papers for the marriage. He didn't say whose it was for, Raghav and Pallavi's or he's and Pallavi's. Pallavi was shocked, she was petrified by the thought of not being with Raghav. All she could think was how can she live without him, now that she knows her love for Raghav, she can't let him go away, she can't keep herself away from him.

But she wasn't her old self who would have had stood their and sacrificed her love, she took a stand, she was not going to let go of her love for Raghav just for a possessive lunatic who was supposedly dead for two years, and came back just in time to ruin her happy life. No, she slapped him in face and told him whatever he does, she not going to sign those papers. He can come up with any idea, she won't let go Raghav's love. She told him that he meant nothing to her, he was her past but Raghav is her present and future. She grabbed his shirts collar and threw him out of her room and slammed the door in his face.

She picked up her phone and called Raghav, but he didn't pick up, she guessed he might be in a meeting or might be busy, so she called Farhad but he too didn't answer her calls. Still she guessed he might be with Raghav, so that's why he didn't pick up the call. After sometime had passed she went to Aai who was fortunately sitting with Kaka and Amruta, who were laughing and smiling, cracking jokes and stuff. She was happy to see their happy faces, just seeing them happy a wide smile crept on her face, she had forgotten about Mandar and his stupid papers. She went and sat with them and spent a lot of time with them laughing and smiling.

________________

Its been a few days since she threw Mandar out of her room, it was her birthday today. But nothing seemed right, something was missing, she was missing Raghav more than anything today. She didn't care if it was her birthday, as long as Raghav wasn't included in the celebration, nothing was happy, it was a random day. Whole day had passed, she was sitting in her bedroom thinking about Raghav, their marriage, stupid Mandar and his papers. No one had picked her call for the past few days, she was worried. Raghav, Farhad, Keerti, Amma no one, she so wanted to get out of the house and see what was wrong but Mandar didn't let her go. Aai and Kaka urged him to let her go and see them, but he was supported by Baba and Kaku, she trapped in that stupid house. The past days has been depressing, how was her birthday special?

Aai, Kaka and Amruta had decorated the hall and bought a cake, she didn't feel like celebrating but she didn't wanted to upset them after all, those three were the only ones who understood her. Of course Mandar Baba, Kaku and Manasi weren't home, they wouldn't let her have a normal day. They would have had taunted her, said bad thing about Raghav which obviously she couldn't have had handled and back answered them and Mandar would have followed her for the whole day like a creep.

Kaka asked Pallavi to cut the cake, but Pallavi thought it wouldn't be good to cut the cake without Baba, Kaku and Manasi, so she insisted on waiting a little more for them. Obviously she would have these three for her birthday than Mandar. She realized Raghav wasn't there, and soon the tsunami of sadness overcame again. She was missing him so much, she could have had done anything to get out of the house that very moment and see Raghav. Then she realized Mandar wasn't home and he'd gone for a while now, so she asked Aai if could go and meet Raghav which she happily said yes too. But was disheartened that the idea didn't come to her soon.

As soon as she headed towards the door, Mandar walked in through the door along with a man. Wasn't it the worst timing ever? Yes it was. Soon she saw the man standing next to Mandar and realized it was a lawyer who had a file in his hand and she knew what was inside it. She was distraught, she wanted to storm out of the door, and cry her heart out on Raghav's shoulder. She soon realized she never told Aai and Kaka about the annulment papers. Kaka questioned Mandar why'd he brought a lawyer to the house. He told them that their annulment papers were ready and he brought the lawyer along so Pallavi could sign on them in front of him. Aai was so infuriated by Mandar's actions that she slapped him hard across his face. She never thought her son would be so cold hearted. But he didn't care, he asked Pallavi to read the papers carefully and sign on them, which her anger wouldn't let her do but she still took the papers from the lawyers hand.

Pallavi started reading the papers carefully even when her heart was aching, tears falling down her face. Soon she read the words The Annulement of Marriage between Mrs. Pallavi Rao and Mr. Mandar Deshmukh. Yes she went back and read those words again, she wiped her tears and asked Mandar, its for hers and Mandar's marriage. Everything was confusing. So she urged him to explain what did it mean. He tells everyone, that the day she clearly stated that she loves Raghav and not him, he was infuriated. He told Kaku and she again advised him to marry her forcefully (but then the overhearing happens and this time it was Baba) he walks inside the room and tells him that she has married Raghav. And forcing a marriage on her and knowing Raghav's nature, he knew he'd loose his son this time for sure so he asked him to annul their marriage and let Pallavi and Raghav have a happy life. And he knew that Aai loved him and he wouldn't disappoint her in any manner. So he dropped the vicious ideas and went to the lawyer. But then Pallavi thought it was for her and Raghav and then she slapped him, but then again Kaku came up with idea to you think it was you and Raghav and it wasn't hurting anyone and was not life threatening so the act continued.

As soon as he finished his tale, Baba and the two arrived with Raghav, Amma, Keerti and Farhad. He tells them that he overheard their birthday plan and thought they would have a nice surprise for Pallavi's birthday. So he asked everyone to not pick up Pallavi's or anyone's calls. But Mandar had to put some boundaries on his act, because obviously Raghav wouldn't want Pallavi to worry about them. And anything that would mean harm to her, gets a death threat, so life over death is always a choice. The sorry and forgiving ceremony happen before cake cutting and everyone was on a same page and happy. No one wanted to kill each other or poison which good for a new start.

As for Pallavi and Raghav all they wanted to do was hug each other and hold each other tightly and never let go. The cake cutting was done. Everyone was enjoying, Amruta and Farhad's friendship was blooming as well. Manasi wouldn't stop teasing Amruta but all she cared about was she got her sister back and obviously Amruta was blushing like an apricot. Everyone had their perfectly made Maharashtrian dinner. They were talking, laughing, cracking jokes like they've meet each other after years.

Everyone was so busy with themselves they didn't notice Pallavi and Raghav going to the garden. Raghav holds Pallavi's hand and goes down on his knees and tells her how much he loved her, the way he loves when her hazel eyes meet his night black eyes, the way her hair covers her beautifully blushing face, her every move makes a difference in his life. She brings happiness to every thing in his life. Even if he was short of words that night Pallavi understood every word that left his mouth. She cupped his face and told him how much she loves him. They were lost so deep in each other's eyes that the world was blurred and as if the crickets were celebrating their love confession. Soon Raghav got up on his feet and hugged her and promised to never let go off her, and love her till forever falls apart.

The magic of the night was different that night. The darkness of night was not to fear but to be embraced by love and the light of happiness. The moon was shining brighter than ever as if it was witnessing the most pure love that night. The stars were twinkling so much as if they dancing by looking at them. The wind was much more softer that night when they both were in each other's arms and planning to never let go of each other, even in the darkest of times to never turn backs on each other, loving each other till forever falls apart. The two spent the night in each other's arms and living happily ever after.

(And obviously she signed the papers :)

The End.
