"Well, we're finally here. Isn't this a marvelous ship?" Diavolo turned to face you. "This party is a lot fancier than I expected. Are you all right? Are you feeling nervous, by any chance?"

1. (A little.)

2. (Not really)

1. "A little" You rub your arm to calm yourself. The prince smiled reassuringly, "It's all right. I'm right here. You have nothing to fear, Y/N. I've got your back in case anything happens."

2. "Not really" You smile at him, showing him you were okay. He tilted his head slightly, "Is that so? I thought you seemed a little restless, but I guess it was just my imagination. Feel free to tell me if anything is bothering you, though."

The two of you continued to walk along the pier. Diavolo scanned the ships windows before looking at you sheepishly. "You don't know anyone here, not to mention it's quite far out. When I first invited you to this party, I was worried whether you would accept my invitation. I'm happy you decided to come along." He played with the edge of his coat as he spoke, as if something else was on his mind.

1. (I'm not sure if I was the right person for this.)

2. (I'm happy too!)

1. You dipped your head, "I'm not sure if I was the right person for this." The demon's face was suddenly serious and he shook his head. "Don't be silly. I wanted to invite you. It had to be you, Y/N." He held your gaze for a few seconds in order to let the message sink in and smiled again after you nodded your understanding.

2. "I'm happy too!" You had actually been quite excited when you recieved your invitation. Diavolo beamed at your response and seemed to have an extra bounce in his step after your words. "I'm glad to hear that. I couldn't think of anyone who'd be more perfect to accompany me to this party."

A plank up to the boat's deck came into view, "Let's go then, shall we?" Diavolo offered his hand to you as you heard a familiar voice, "Huh? Fancy seeing you two here." You both turned to see Satan walking up to the entrance waving. You waved back, smiling at a known face. All the other demons were making you slightly nervous. The demon at your side straightened and nodded at the new group member, "Why hello, Satan. I didn't know you had been invited too." The blond smiled, "The host and I go back a few hundred years, you see." You watched the two demons talk casually and smiled to yourself. "I didn't know you knew each other. You truly have a large circle of acquaintances, don't you?" Diavolo looked impressed.

1. (You too, Diavolo.)

2. (That's impressive, Satan.)

1. You piped up, "You too, Diavolo." He nodded and gave a shrug, "I am the future king, after all. I get to know lots of people whether I like it or not." The last part didn't seem too positive which caused you to frown slightly before shaking it off.

2. You had a similar expression to Diavolo's, "That's impressive, Satan." As a book reader, you had assumed that he wasn't one to socialise, but not everyone can be like Levi so it wasn't too big of a shock since Satan had often asked you to go on museum trips with him. Diavolo just laughed, "Haha, don't. It's only due to my position that I have such a large circle of acquaintances."

Satan gazed along the side of the boat and at the many formally dressed demons that were attending. "I wasn't expecting this party to be on such a grand scale, though. It's not every day you come across a party this luxurious." You nodded, agreeing with your housemate and following his line of sight. The brunet crossed his arms and nodded a few times, "Indeed, it's quite impressive. Even I don't get to attend many parties like this. Y/N. I suppose you're feeling more relaxed now that you've seen a familiar face in the crowd?" He smiled and met your eyes again.

1. (Thanks to Satan, yes.)

2. (I'm feeling a lot calmer.)

1. You nodded happily. "Thanks to Satan, yes." Diavolo's own smile faltered. "Oh, I see." He chuckled sounding (and looking) disheartened, "I'd like to be someone who puts you at ease too, but I suppose I can't expect things to always go my way." The prince was quick to recover though and composed himself in a few seconds.

2. Taking a breath, you returned his gaze. "I'm feeling a lot calmer." He gently put a hand on your shoulder and sighed in relief. "I'm glad to hear that. You don't have to worry about anything. Just relax and be yourself."

Diavolo offered his hand to you again and held yours gently. "Let's go, Y/N. For real this time." Satan nodded and lead the way up the ramp while the price guided you gently along, preventing you from bumping into the other guests. There were a few that stared, but you felt safe with two of the strongest demons in the Devildom by your side so didn't care too much.

-Author's Note-

Heya peeps. So, what do you think? Personally, I think it's great but like anything could be just a a little better.

Make sure to give any feedback you may have in the comments :]

This Devilgram was actually the one to make Lord Diavolo my favourite. Poor Asmo, the way I tried so hard to stay loyal when Solomon kept appearing as the surprise guest and now he isn't even my homescreen demon anymore :/
