Okay, maybe Nezu wasn't as insane as she had thought, but his crazed laughter still set off alarm bells in her head.

The white-haired girl stood in front of the massive class 1-A door, wondering what had necessitated the need for a door like this in the first place. Maybe they had to fit a car in here at one point? Did the Hulk graduate from UA? Hold on, was this door metal-reinforced? The little window was made of... bulletproof glass? Huh... like it was meant to keep something out, but also something in...

She sighed, breaking her own train of thought. No using thinking like that anymore. Hopefully. The girl pushed the door to the side, stepping into the classroom. And proceeded to immediately regret it.

"You! What are you doing in our classroom!" A blue-haired boy chopped his arms in a robotic manner as he spoke, getting out of his seat and walking towards her. Said girl adopted a slightly terrified expression and backed up against the wall.

Fortunately, the boy stopped a couple steps in front of her. "What business do you have with class 1-A!"

The girl took a few seconds to calm herself before signing with her hands. I hope he understands JSL...

The taller boy blinked before bowing ninety degrees. "Forgive me! I thought you were from another class. My name is Iida Tenya."

"Go back to your seat, Iida."

Both of them turned to see Aizawa standing in the doorway. Iida bowed again before returning to his seat. Aizawa walked over to his desk, checking the seating chart before writing something down.

"You'll be behind Midoriya, in front of Yaoyorozu."

(That's right, I'm replacing Mineta. He provides nothing but bad comic relief/"mandatory" trope filling and is detrimental to the plot. Also, why do so many people replace Hagakure/Koda/Sato/Ojiro? They might be equally useless, but at least they aren't pieces of shit. Digressions aside.)

As the white-haired girl walked to her seat, some noticed that in addition to the normal UA uniform - the male one, that is - she wore a green beret with a particular four-line patch on it. She sat down, choosing to ignore the curious gazes of everyone else and stare at her desk as Aizawa started homeroom, as if she could burn a hole to the floor underneath her if she tried hard enough.

As homeroom ended and the other morning classes began, the class 1-A students began to wonder who this new girl was. She had signed to Iida instead of saying anything and had arrived a day late. Nobody had seen her from the entrance exam, and she wasn't familiar to the recommendation students, either. She had long, white hair, dull green eyes, and no visible mutations. Some who looked close enough noticed a red teardrop painted underneath her left eye. One particular greenette wondered what her quirk was.

Lunchtime rolled around, and the girl was nowhere to be seen, at least in the cafeteria.

"White rice is a great comfort food, isn't it?"

Midoriya sort of freaked out and started fanboying over Lunch Rush. He managed to calm himself down once the cook hero had left and remembered what he was going to ask Iida.

"Hey, Iida, what did that girl say to you?"

"Ah, that's right!" Iida suddenly stopped eating and pushed up his glasses, light conveniently glinting off of them. "She said she just moved here, and so couldn't be in class on the first day. Though, I didn't catch her name."
