"[Robots. How creative.]"
"[My god, just hire fake villains at this point. Flexing your tax brackets doesn't make you any more American.]"
Yui winced as she watched a general studies student get swatted like a fly by a robot. "[Put yourself in even more debt to offset that debt with TV ratings. It's so genius it's almost frightening.]"
Safe to say, the vast majority of UA students - even some hero course students - were not having a good time. Though Todoroki had managed to freeze the vast majority of the robots, that caused a massive rubble pile-up that quickly turned the icy field into a six hundred-way-brawl. Bakugo managed to blast his way out first, followed by much of the hero course students and a handful of general studies and support course students. Accompanied by, of course, a lot of screeching from Present Mic.
"['Cockatoo' is right, sheesh.]"
"[Don't tell me you've never watched American wrestling.]"
"[At least they have a point! Here it's just advertising their barely disguised child soldier program!]"
"..."
"..."
"...[okay, yeah, that was a little hypocritical.]"
"*- - / *-** * *- *** - / -*-- --- **- / -*- -* --- *-- / ** -"
Yui scoffed. "[Tell that to Fifteen-November.]"
"[If H is here, he knows already,]" Peter muttered.
"[You don't think that's exactly why?]"
"[If we can even assume that, then it's already too late, isn't it?]"
A particularly enthusiastic exclamation from Present Mic brought their attention back to the obstacle course. Their conversation had lasted long enough to skip over the second obstacle; the third, as Present Mic was now... presenting it, for the lack of a better term, was a minefield. Which apparently wasn't actually dangerous (to quote, "not that powerful"), but still, they were mines. A hundred years after the pre-quirk era, though, absolutely nothing made sense anymore, so that was about expected. Or maybe it was just lazy writing. Probably both. I mean, look at Momo's hero costume.
"[Is this what Russian boot camp is like?]"
"[No, more flames there.]"
The three turned around to the new voice. Peter gave a wide smile and raised a hand in greeting. "[Pathfinder! I thought you were in Minsk?]"
The new arrival was a young woman, somewhere between eighteen and twenty years of age or so, with dark blue eyes, light skin slightly tinted blue, and dark blue-grey hair that reached to her mid-back. She wore an extremely ornamental white-blue dress and tied gown, complete with jeweled armlets and an ornate headband crowned on one side with an abelia blossom. Though her voice held no hostility, it was still cold like the frozen tundra Pathfinder hailed from.
Pathfinder nodded as she sat down next to H. "[I was. Finished there. Got bored.]"
"IZUKU MIDORIYA HAS MADE A HUGE SPLASH!"
