-Aw man! I'm starving!
Your friend and travel companion Hop was screaming into your ears about his hunger. It was a normal day like any other; just another day having fun with Pokémon. You and Hop were traveling around Galar after receiving your very own Pokémon.
-How about we set up a camp? You suggested.
-Great idea, (Y/N)! Hop responded.
You were a Dark-type Pokémon master, and you could be in the rank of Gym Leader. You and Hop set up the camp together and started making curry.
-How about a Sitrus berry?
-No, maybe a Figy berry will do the work.
-Add a Wiki Berry!
As you were discussing what berries to put in the curry, a young woman runs up to you. She looked like a hiker and wore a hat and a heavy-looking backpack. You didn't notice the woman, so she tapped you lightly on the shoulder.
-Would you please excuse me? The woman asked.
-Hello. What would you need? You noticed her and answered.
-I was wondering, do you perhaps know where Stow-On-Side town would be? The woman demanded.
-Ah yes; I and my friend here were just about to go there. It should be over there. You pointed behind the lady's back.
-Ah, thank you, kind child! And so the woman ran off with her backpack. I forgot to ask for her name, you thought.
-Hey (Y/N)! The curry's ready! Hop cried out.
-I'm coming!
You both ate together with your Pokémon. It was good enough to be considered a Milcery Class curry. You and Hop both played with your Pokémons a little bit but set back on the route for Stow-On-Side town after.
You battled trainers with your Absol, gaining a little bit of money. Hop and You talked on the way to Stow-On-Side town as the sun set down.
-Ah! Come on (Y/N)! I see the gate to Stow-On-Side!
Hop grabbed your wrist and practically dragged you to the gates. As you were both healing your Pokémons at the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy blurted out that she hasn't seen tourists in a long time, since most people are afraid of Ghost-Types. Finding a little inn nearby, you and Hop decided to rest there for the night.
Exploring around the next day, you realize that Stow-On-Side actually has welcoming people! As for the woman you met yesterday, she so happens to just visit her family, here in this town. Her name was Diane. It is pretty hot here though, considering it's in a desert.
Since there was not much to do, you decided to go challenge the Stadium. Apparently, the Trainer there specializes in Ghost-Type Pokémon. So you decided to go get a peek and see if you can get the badge.
Approaching the stadium, you see an old man standing in front of the door.
-I am terribly sorry, but the Gym Leader is not present today; said the old man.
-Alright. It's not that big of a deal. You smiled at the old man and walked away.
You had no idea what to do now, so you went on and tried to find Hop. You saw him bargaining with the owner of a shop.
-Hum? Oh hey, (Y/N)!
-Hello Hop.
-I thought you were going to go fight the gym today.
-Well, the Gym Leader is supposedly not present...
-Oh, OK. So... what are you going to do now?
-...Maybe I'll explore a bit more.
-Alright! See you at lunchtime?
-Sure thing!
You headed off to explore once more. You looked at the ruins, talked to shopkeepers, etc. You were getting pretty bored at this point. You headed off to Route 6 to catch some Pokémons to add to the PokéDex.
Catching more and more Pokémon has become a mission for you, due to Prof. Magnolia demanding you to do so. So you crept into the dried tall grass and caught some Pokémon. You had some battles along the way and kept on getting money.
-Money sure is important when it comes to Pokémon battles; you said out loud, though no one was listening anyway.
You ran into some problems along the way but managed to overcome them. Going back to Stow-On-Side, you bought some things from the PokéMart and started bargaining. But once more, you were utterly bored and wished for a little bit of action.
The Gym Leader was still not present, so you had to wait even longer. As lunchtime approached, you started playing with your Pokémons. Your Weavile was happily chatting with your Houdoom, as your Absol teased your Thievul. Everything was chill, relaxed. You laid back, sighed, and waited for Hop.
The curry was good. Even though you kind of burned it, it wasn't that bad and you still enjoyed eating the food. Hop got all pumped up and challenged you to a battle, but unfortunately, he suffered a loss.
Hop decided to go to Route 6 to continue catching Pokémons, and you came along with him to make sure he doesn't get himself in trouble. As you tried to catch an Axew (Which took you a lot of time to find) somebody accidentally deflected your PokéBall and hurt Weavile in the progress. The person who was throwing was currently trying to catch a Galarian Yamask, and realizing his mistake, he quickly caught the wild Pokémon and rushed by your side.
-...I'm sorry for that... The young boy or girl (You couldn't tell) said.
-It's fine. Don't worry about that, you responded with a smile.
-...Well, I'm going n-now.
-Wait, can I please get your name? You said as he left.
-...'M Allister...
-Oh, alright Allister! I'm (Y/N)!
You looked into his eyes, and, though he was wearing a strange mask, you could still see the lavender glow in his eyes.
Those lavender eyes shone brightly under that dark mask.
