It was the morning. The sun was shining bright on the sandy ground of Route 6. You were awakened by the smell of delicious curry. Opening slightly your eyes, you notice Hop and his Dubwool cooking up some succulent bone curry. Hop notices this and looks at you.
-Heh, finally awake I see! How's that headache going?
-Um... I don't feel it anymore...
-That's great, mate! Come on, let's eat, today we have the Gym to challenge!
-Oh yeah!
-Come on (Y/N), did you seriously forget?
-L-look Hop, I just woke up! You said, flustered.
You and Hop ranted on and on to each other, even while eating, and you thought it very pleasant to have his cheerful attitude right in the morning. As you finished eating, you checked on your Pokémons and headed to Stow-On-Side.
Healing your partners one last time at the Pokémon Center, you talk to Nurse Joy happily. Hop was doing his daily Loto-ID, and when you were done waiting for your Pokémons to heal, you headed towards the Stadium.
Entering inside, you could see a bunch of people talking, discussing, betting who will win, etc. Your supporter was there too, and with her Dottler, she confidently said that she'll cheer you on. You respond with a smile and head off to the Gym Mission. Putting on the uniform, you breathed in and out and went on with the challenge, with your supporter, Hop, and all of your Pokémons behind your back.
Now then, let the Gym Mission begin!
As you walked through the doors, the coach began explaining the mission. You had to go into a teacup-like thing and spin your way through all the stages, while also battling a few other trainers in the process.
You walked in, sat down, and started spinning. At first, it was kind of tricky and awkward to control the teacup; you were also a tiny bit dizzy from all the spinning. But you managed to pass through the first stage and had to fight a trainer.
-Alright kiddo, let's do this! Go, Pumpkaboo!
-Come on out, Corviknight!
You quickly defeated Clive while spamming Steel Wing and went back into the teacup ride. You rode your way across the Gym Mission and honestly, it was interesting, and you enjoyed battling trainers along the way.
When came the time to fight Allister, you weren't that prepared.
Come on, (Y/N). You've been practicing for this all night, you can't lose now; you thought. Inhaling and exhaling one last time before going into the ring, you look at your partners who are as pumped as you to go fight the Ghost-Type Gym Leader.
You stepped in. Cheering could be heard from miles away. Allister was also walking clumsily down the path to the middle.
-Oh... I-it's you...
-It is a big honor to be fighting you here, Allister.
-T-thanks... I wish the best of luck to both of us...
You and Allister both went to your respective sides before battling. Cries, cheers, and screams could be heard roaring from the stadium. You could see Hop, your supporter, and many other faces in the spectator seats.
This was it.
It started rather in a good way for you. You had a serious type advantage since all of your Pokémons are Dark-Type. Allister threw a DuskBall and out popped a Galarian Yamask. In his mind, the young ghost boy remembered that he met you while catching this particular Pokémon. You threw a PokéBall and Weavile came out of it.
