I wake up to my own screams. I somehow managed to yank my arm free in the night, and it was bent around my back in a disturbing angle. Not to mention my nightmares last night. I could barely sleep, but to be honest, I rather would have woke up than stayed asleep with my horrible, horrible nightmares.
I force myself to sit up and contemplate taking a bath. I could, but... Who knows what kind of stuff is in that water? And who knows, there may be cameras or something around here. This may just be a whole sick prank played by my messed up friends. In the end, I decide it's a better idea to take one than to abandon the whole idea and end up sick.
I clamber onto the rocks and strip my clothes, still worried if this is a good idea or not. Toes first, I slide into the freezing pit of water, leaving my clothes on the chore to dry from last night's swim. I go underwater completely and try to brush my hair a little with the fingers on my good arm. I don't have a hairbrush, but it's still good to stay a little healthy, even if it hurts. Who knows the next time I'll be brushing my teeth, eating something other than rotten, unwashed fruit, or taking a bath in actual clean water?
I sigh. By now Im used to the temperature of the water, but now everything is catching up to me. Who am I? Who is my family? Where am I from? Why am I here? The questions crowd my head, scarcely leaving room for anything else to enter my mind. I let out a long groan and allow tears to streak down my face. I just want answers... but before I know it, Im screaming in terror as a hand grabs my leg, pulling me underneath the deep, dark water.
