Chapter 5

Mia's POV

I felt warmth all around me as I snuggled closer into the fluffy blankets. I have to admit Duke has a comfy bed along with soft and warm blankets.

Duke had his arm around me as he buried his face in my hair. I could feel his chest taking in breathes making him appear sleeping. So he's still asleep?

I woke up and groaned when I felt pain in my lower back from mopping the floors back home which made me bend in hard to reach places. Those floors are a nightmare.

"Good morning Mia." Duke said and kissed my neck.

"Mhm good morning Duke." I said and rolled off the bed.

"No I wanna cuddle more with you." Duke whined in his sexy...stop!

"Duke I have school today." I said and rushed to the closet.

"I looked into your school and saw that you had enough credits to graduate so I told them you can graduate." Duke smiled and hugged me from behind. When did he get out of bed?

"What time is it anyway?" I asked while looking at my clothes.

"It's eleven in the morning. I want to get you a new wardrobe your clothes look cheap." Duke said and took out my clothing.

"Well I couldn't buy anything fancy like you mister." I said and poked his chest.

He playfully rolled his eyes while putting my clothes and shoes into a huge bag. He gave me a summer dress since it was around summer but it's only spring. I love the summer.

"Why don't you give the clothes to charity." I said and yanked the bag out of his hold.

"If you want to." Duke said and pecked my cheek.

After going to ten different stores and having around two bags for every store we went we were on are way to the palace.

In total I got 20 new shirts, 12 pairs of pants, undies and bras, and lastly and sadly dresses.

In general I'm not a girly girl I hate dresses period. Sometimes I hate dresses and makeup but eh. I guess I have to wear them to feel like a princess or some shit.

"Now that we got the cars loaded into the trunk lets go home." Duke said and pecked my red cheek.

"The lady was looking at you as if you murdered her son at Victoria's Secret." I said remembering when we both walked inside buying me sexy lingerie for him.

"Oh yeah that was awesome." Duke laughed as he started up the car.

"That was embarrassing for me!" I pouted and crossed my arms.

"I helped you pick out some sexy outfits for are wedding night in a month." Duke shrugged like its no big deal.

"What?!" I screamed. When the hell did this happen.

"My father wants to retire in his cabin in Norway." Duke says when he stopped at a red light.

"Well who is gonna be at the wedding?" I asked as he made a sharp left turn.

"Everyone in the kingdom and my family." Duke shrugs as we passed the palace gate.

"That's a lot of people Duke." I said while fiddling with my thumbs.

"It's alright you'll have me by your side." Duke said as he packed the car.

Well I guess I have to get used to being a queen soon. Staring in a month.
