Chapter 4

Mia's POV

Damn this sucks. School is cancelled for a few days till Prince Duke can find his runaway mate. I hope he never finds me I don't want to have my family live with me in the castle. They will blackmail me and make Nancy or Perry the queen.

"I hope I'm his mate!" Perry squealed as she put on pounds of makeup.

"No me!" Nancy growled.

"Me!"

"No me!"

Will they ever shut the hell up? All they complain about is not having what they want and blah blah blah!

I get they want perfect lives but hello. What about me? I haven't had happiness since god knows how long. I think I should have his hand in marriage.

"Whoever it is she will be able to independent from her family." Samuel said as he read the newspaper article about it.

"Yay I can have independence from that." Perry said pointing at me.

Well to bad you're not his mate bitch. Now I'm excited to leave this shit stand. Yes now I can have freedom!

"The Prince will be here any minute!" Nancy squealed as she looked out the window.

She was waiting to taken away to be with the one and only Prince Duke Howler. In her dreams haha. Dumb bitch.

"Hello Moon family it seems as you are the last house on the list of maidens whom have no mate may we come inside?" Asked the King.

"Yes come in." My mom said and let both the King and Prince inside. They looked kinda tired and seemed that they needed a shower.

"I can smell my mate in here." Duke said huskily.

"It's me right?" Perry asked with hope in her eyes.

"No my mate is blonde and you're not." Duke said as he looked for me.

"The only blonde here is....Mia." Nancy spat. Um rude much.

"Come on out Mia." Duke taunted in his Alpha tone.

I guess it's my time to pop out. I sighed and made my appearance. My sisters gave me hateful glares while Rosalyn just looked at me like I was shit on her shoe.

"Well Mia it seems like it's your time to go to are new home." Duke said calmly.

I nodded my head and packed up my belongings in my bag along with my diary. I got all of my things and made my way down to the front door.

"Goodbye Moon family." Dukes father said and left.

"Let's go love." Duke said and held my hand.

"It should be me and not this slut." I heard Nancy whisper to herself.

It's so like her to say that. She's always wanted what I had since I get a car and my own money and now being future queen? Oh boy.

"And this is are room." Duke said at the end of are tour.

"Can I take a shower?" I asked as I placed my bag on the king size bed.

"Of course you can I'll but your clothes and belongings away." Duke said as I got to the bathroom.

His bathroom looked like something out of a movie. His shower had girl products I guessed he was preparing for me.

I washed my hair with cherry smelling shampoo and conditioner. It smelled really good! I used his body wash which smelled like the woods and mint. Such a good combo.

When I was done I wrapped myself up with a fluffy towel and blow dried my hair and put it into a messy bun.

I saw that he left me pajamas. It was one of his white tees and my booty shorts along with a bra and panties. Oh my god he went through my undies. He's a dead man.

I changed into my pjs and walked out of the room and witnessed a half naked Duke on the bed.

He had on no shoes, no shirt, only boxers. He was sleeping I assume which made me quietly sneak into bed.

Just as I fell asleep I felt his arm go around my waist and held me as I slept.
