The next day was the same, except for the sign ups at lunch for the student council. As I was signing up. I noticed Rengoku doing the same.

"Hello Y/n, it seems we're both signing up for the student council." He said starting a conversation.

"Yea, looks like it." I said with an awkward smile. "What are you running for?"

"I'm running for president, actually." He said.

"Oh that's cool, I'm running for Vice President." I added.

"RENGOKU, come here!" Someone waved him over to where they were. The person was very tall and muscular. He had white hair, held up in a ponytail. On his sides were three hot (and when I say hot I mean "bisexual panic at the disco" hot) women. One had black hair and sapphire blue eyes. Another had black hair with blonde bangs, which framed her golden brown eyes. The last one had black hair up in a ponytail, with violet eyes.

"Well, I'll be sure to vote for you." Rengoku said while waving bye and joining his friend.

"You too." I waved while joining mine.

Rengoku POV

Uzui pulled me away from a delightful conversation with Y/n. Of course, any time spent with Y/n is delightful. Even being in her presence is like a warm summer breeze, washing away a cold winter's day. I was a bit sad that I had to leave her side. But that's normal, right?

"Hey, Uzui" I said.

"Who was that?" He asked. I can't believe him. He has three girlfriends, and he is still looking for another one.

"Her name is Y/n." I said. "And don't even think about it."

Uzui playfully faked innocence, and dramatically gasped. "Rengoku, I can't believe you would think that."

"Yeah, we just wanted to know who she is." Hinatsuru added.

"She's so cute!" Suma exclaimed while lightly blushing.

Y/n POV

*choking noises*

Nezuko was sitting next to me absolutely losing her shit, laughing over something that happened in English class. Nobody mentioned it, we just looked at each other and started laughing our asses off. It's a bit surprising how close we've gotten over the course of... one day actually. We stood up all night texting back and forth. It's like we've known each other our whole lives.

Nezuko POV

I'm so tired. I didn't sleep at all last night. Me and Y/n were texting all night. She kept telling me to go to sleep but I lied and said I normally stay up late. Although it was a lie.

I laughed at Y/n's text as I walked through the dark hallway at 3 AM. I entered the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee so I could stay up and talk to Y/n more. I was pouring the "bean juice" as Y/n calls it, into the mug when I heard someone behind me singing quietly to himself. I turned around to see Tanjiro, singing love songs to himself, which is something very out of the ordinary for him.

It seemed that I startled him because he slightly jumped before realizing it was me.

"What are you doing up?" He whisper/yelled at me.

"What are YOU doing up?"

"I asked you first."

"I asked you second."

*DING*

My phone got a notification.

"Who's that? Is it a boy?" He asked.

"No it's a girl."

"Who?"

"Your girlfriend."

"Y/n is not my girlfriend."

"I didn't say a name." I teased.

"I dIdN't SaY a NaMe" he repeated, ticked off that I caught him. "So what we're you guys talking about?" He asked 'nonchalantly'.

"Oh, nothing, just boys we like." I lied.

"Did you talk about your big fact crush on Zenitsu" he said, trying to get back at me, while grabbing a soda from the refrigerator.

"I don't have a big fat crush on Zenitsu, but she did mention your name a couple times." I lied again, taking a sip of my coffee. It was really bitter but it kept me awake.

"What!?" He said almost dropping his soda, then putting it back and grabbing another one. "Really?"

"No, she was telling me about her old school."

"That's why you have those little dog teeth." He said, making little fangs with his fingers.

"That's why you got a big forehead." 

"That's why you're ugly."

"What? I'm ugly :'("

"... no you're not I don't know why I said that. I'm sorry."

"So What are you doing up?"

"Nothing"

"That's a lie"

"I just couldn't sleep so I was listening to music"

"Did those songs happen to be love songs?"

"Maybe"

"I've connected the dots."

"You didn't connect shit."

"I've connected them."

"Then what was I doing then?"

"You were listening to love songs and thinking about Y/n. That's why you couldn't sleep."

"I am going to hit you."

"Can you help me get the Doritos?"

"Yeah."

{A/N: this is a real conversation that happened yesterday between me and my little brother}

"I'm going to my room."

"Ok, good night."

"Yeah, you too."

With that I went back to my room to continue talking to Y/n.

sorry I didn't get this out yesterday. I had a lot to do yesterday, and I was working on a new chapter for my other book starstruck. I'm thinking about Changing the update day to Saturdays. So then I at least have another day, just to get the chapter out if I miss an update. Anyways stay safe kiddos.
