"Holy shit, what happened to you?" Richie, Bill and I all ran out of the sewers to see Ben, the new kid on all fours gasping for air. I sped over to Ben and pulled him up onto his feet. I inspected his wound as my mother taught me to do and determined that we needed to go to the pharmacy to get treatment.

"I think it's great that we're helping the new kid but we also need to think about our safety." Eddie was ranting to the group as we rode our bikes out of the woods towards the town except for this time I was on the back of Stanley's bike and Ben was on the back of Bills. Which Bill didn't seem to be loving.

"I mean, he's bleeding all over and you guys know there's an AIDS epidemic happening right now as we speak I mean my mom's friend in New York City got it just by touching a dirty pole in the subway and she got AIDS blood into her system through a hangnail, a hangnail!" I laughed into Stanley's back at Eddie's facts knowing all too well that they aren't 100% correct but I knew this isn't the time to argue with Eddie about sexually transmitted diseases. "And they amputate legs and arms. But how do you amputate your waist? You know that there are alleys full of AIDS-infected needles, right? You. Know that." Everyone had given up on listening to Eddie and I took the lead.

"Richie, wait here." I put my hand onto stop Richie in his tracks. "Come on." I signalled to Bill, Eddie and Stan. I knew that we would have to get antibiotic ointment, cotton balls, cotton bandages, gauze dressing and sanitiser but Eddie already has loads of that. "Can we afford all that?" Eddie asked me in a concerned voice as I walked around the corner to check if they had anything cheaper. *BONK* I fell face first on top of a red-headed girl who was now laughing.

Beverly Marsh.

she's a sweet, pretty girl that I was quite unfamiliar with, well except the rumours that had been spread about her and the quite insensitive jokes I had made based on those rumours. "Oh, I am so sorry," I said getting off her and helping her.
"Oh it's fine don't worry about it." She said as she all of a sudden pulled me around the corner of the aile squishing our body's together, Our noses just touching. I giggled slightly as I stared into her ocean blue eyes, oh how you could get lost in them for days-

"Sorry." She rubbed the back of her neck. "I saw Greta and I just couldn't face her."
"N-no it's okay." I slowly got off her and finally noticed a bill, eddie and Stanley staring at Beverly and i, unsure of what was happening.
"Oh I'm sorry, this is Beverly. Beverly meets Stan, Stan meets Bev. Bev meets Eddie, Ed's meet Bev. And Bill-"
"I know Bill. Bill and I kissed in the school playback in third grade." My heart sunk, Bill kissing another girl... it didn't sit right with me but I brushed the feeling away.

"Are you guys okay..." Bev questioned now finally realising that Eddie, Bill, Stanley and were all holding a lot of medical supplies.
"We're fine," Stanley said trying to change the subject.
"New kid outside looks like someone killed him." Eddie blurted out.
"We need some s-s-s-supplies but we don't have enough money." Bill joined in, seeming a little bit too eager to join the conversation with Beverly. "Well, I have just the right idea," Bev said looking at me.

"Hi, Mr Keene. You look really nice today!?" I leant down on the counter at the back of the pharmacy revealing most of my cleavage for Mr Keene to see. "H-hi Spencer," He looked me up and down. "How's your mother? Been busy at the Hospital?" A small smirk appeared on his face. "I haven't seen her in a while but I assume so! I was thinking about getting glasses, and you just look so dashing in yours, just like Clark Kent I thought maybe you would let me try them on?!" I spoke in my most angel-like voice.
"Well sure." Mr Keene handed me his glasses and I placed them effortlessly on my face, giving him a small smile.
"What do you think?"
"Well how about that, you look just like Lois Lane."

"Well then we are the most dashing couple right now, aren't we!?" I lied. "Well, here you go!" I took the glasses off and went to hand them back to Mr Keene when I 'accidentally' knocked over the cigarette stand making it the perfect time for Bill, Eddie, Stanley and Beverly to run out of the shop. "Oh, I am such a Clutts let me help you clean that up, Mr Keene."
"No, no it's fine you go Spencer. Have a great day!" And with that, I quickly grabbed a packet of cigarettes for Bev as I promised her and ran out of the store.

I walked down the street back to the alleyway where Bill was standing alone waiting for me. "Uhmm, th-the-thanks." He mumbled out.
"It's okay."
"I-I know how-w hard it is for you to b-be around men like M-Mr Keene," Bill said which sent a shiver down my spine.
"U-uh no-no Bill it's been years since anything happened with my dad, thank you though." I kissed Bill on the cheek and ran over to Eddie and Richie who were cleaning Bens wound incorrectly. "Hey Ben, how are you feeling," I asked looking into his eyes. He looked at me then at Bev and said "Fine." With a weak undertone. I brought myself up to his ear and whispered,
"how are you actually feeling Ben." He then turned to me and whispered in my ear
"weak." I nodded and bit the inside of my mouth trying to work out what to do. I pulled another crate over next to the one Ben was already sitting on as Ben and Beverly had a conversation "Sure, maybe I'll see you around." I heard Beverly say waving everyone goodbye.
"Yeah, we were maybe thinking about going to the q-q-q-quarry tomorrow, if you wanna...Come?" I heard Bill say which made me freeze. Again that weird feeling of well, jealousy roamed around me. why was I jealous that Bill was asking Bev to hang out?
"Good to Know." She replied Making me unfreeze and lay Ben down across both crates. I grabbed out the disinfectant and started gently rubbing it on bens wound. "This may hurt." I could feel him wince.

"Nice going, bringing up Bowers in front of her," Richie yelled at Bill.
"Yeah, did you hear what she did?" Eddie added.
"What'd she do?" Ben lifted his head slightly.
"More like who could she do... I heard that the list is longer than my wang." Richie stated.
"That's not saying much." Stanley whispered to me.
"They're j-j-just rumours." Bill defended.
"Anyway, Bill had her back in third grade. They kissed in the school play. The reviews said that you can't fake that kind of passion." Richie joked knowing damn well what it would do to me. I sighed and felt Bill's eyes watch me for the rest of the time I was cleaning Bens wound. "Now, pip pip and tally-ho my good fellows, I do believe this chap requires our utmost attention. Now get in there Dr B and fix him up!" Richie spoke in his fake British accent as he pointed at me. "Why don't you shut the fuck up, Einstein, because I know what I'm doing and I don't want you doing the British guy." I snapped at him making him gasp back.
"Suck the wound. Get in there."
