LOST and FOUND...

ch 8 :A day out!

I got inside his luxurious car.This time it was shining in red and black with stickers everywhere.The plate was filled with a fancy number.
When I was inside the car,it felt I like I was chilling in my hotel room.The weather was super hot but since the air conditioning was on,it felt like heaven.
I never thought I would get a chance to ride in such a cool costly car!

"So,where are we going now?"I whispered unconsciously.

"I'll tell you when we reach!"He said coldly.

"Why is your face always so stiff?You know what,your features will get a little of justice if you could smile!-"

"What?"His words made me quiver.

Yes!I have this sassy side which shows up rarely.Once I get familiar with someone,those nuts in my head runs loose!

"I'm sorry!My mouth would run long sometimes.I'll make sure to catch it and keep it in its place.I just meant that you would look more hot if you smile-",I did not dare to look at his eyes while speaking.

"Hmmm",he cleared his throat.

"No!That doesn't mean that you're not hot now.You're a total knock-out.Even when I saw you for the first time,I wanted to be friends with you because it was nice talking to you."

"You don't have to lie like that!",he smiled.

"Uh!Not everything was a lie though!",I smiled back.

The air was so nice that I was starting to feel sleepy.The seat was very comfortable too and with him beside me,I felt a lot more comfortable.

"So,we're here!".He pulled the car into a halt.

Thanks to the seatbelt,I didn't get my head injured by hitting the dashboard.
I got out of the car and felt the sun's burning rays on my skin.It felt like I'm being roasted.

We stood in front of a fashion showroom.
"Lets go!",he held my hand.

"Are you here to select your dress?"I asked him before getting inside the shop.

"Hmmm-",he paused for a moment and then continued, "Yes!",he said with a huge smile.

"Okay then.You concentrate on the dress,I'll take care of the money!"

He winked in response.

As soon as we got inside,two of the attendants came running towards us.Actually,running towards him to be precise.

"Haven't met you in years?How is your father doing?Heard he had a great boom in his business?-"They lead us to a table filled with lookbooks and photocards.

"Here!Choose your style!-"They handed a book in his hand,"These are the new models that have launched this year!Currently in trend.",said an attendee.

While I was busy admiring those models in the lookbook,I heard an attendee whispering something into his ears.
"Is this your girlfriend?She looks gorgeous!"

"Well-",he connected his arms into mine and then looked into my eyes with a flirty smirk plastered to his face."She is currently my girlfriend!"

Currently?What does that mean?Does he keep changing his girlfriends?Is he toying with me now?
There were thousand different questions wrestling inside my head.For some reason, I was not quite satisfied with his choice of words. But I chose to be silent and go with the situation because I can't do anything.I can't bear to lose this job!

"Well, we need some time alone. We'll discuss our clothes and let you know."He told in a mild voice.

After they left the place,he removed his hands from mine and whispered "sorry".

"No,that's okay. I can tell what they're upto.Well,that's a kind of marketing too!",I laughed.

"Uh!They ask me all those questions just for formality because my dad has recently invested in this brand-"

"Wowww!You are for real a billionaire",I crossed my hands across my chest,"But you should have your own identity!"

"I don't like what you've told just now even though I can agree that is the truth!-",he sighed."Anyways,never mind them.All they say are lies!"

"But one of the attendants just whispered in your ears that I'm beautiful",my lips made a little pout.

"Then seems like there is a little truth hidden in those ocean of lies!",he laughed.

"So?-",I cleared my throat while he was going through the styles in the lookbook.
"What do you mean by this?You told them that I'm currently your girlfriend?Do you have so many girlfriends?"I looked at him in awe.

"Me?Girlfriends?-",he laughed.
"The thing is I've never had a girlfriend.And the reason why I told them that you're my current girlfriend was just to show them how cool I am!"

"Stupid excuses!",I whispered to myself.

"What?",he came closer.

"Nothing!Let's choose your dress now!"I smiled nervously.

"It's time to choose your dress.So,tell me what dress would you like to wear to the prom?"

"Prom?"I was surprised to hear this word because I've never gone to a school so I've never had a chance to attend those grand graduation parties.

"Isn't that the graduation party those school-going kids attend?Is that what you're talking about?"I ask him in confusion.

"Yes.Why?Don't you know about that?Haven't you been to school?"He looked surprised.

"Uh!I was home schooled! "
This was the best possible answer I could provide at that moment.

"Oh!I see!"He got up,holding my hands forcing me to get out of the sitting bench too.

"Why do I need a dress?I have discontinued my school,I don't think I'll be attending any proms in the near future!"
I tried to keep up with my lies as much as I could!

"No,you don't understand this!You're coming with me to my prom as my girlfriend!"He winked.

"What?!"I backed away from him in confusion.

Something I feared shouldn't happen is happening right now.

Is fear the first feeling you feel after someone you like wants you to be his girlfriend?

'Cause that is what I'm feeling now!
And I can't deny it because I need this job to get back to my dad.But I feel that something is going wrong!Help me,Lord!
