Newton's POV
After "the incident" Raven started ignoring me. I tried calling him several times but he never answered. I finaly decided to visit his pod for the first time, hoping he would be there. I rung the doorbell of the landed spaceship which seemed abandoned. I saw him look through the window then open the door, but not in a welcoming way. "What do you want?" He whispered quietly. I saw the tears in his eyes.
"Raven why have you been ignoring me?!" He let me in and we sat down on the couch. I looked at him expectantly but he just stared at his hands. I was getting agitated.
"I didn't stop them."
"What are you talking about?" He didn't even look at me.
"I-I let them bury you!" He stammered starting to cry. I embraced him tightly which caught him off guard.
"It's all my fault you almost didn't breathe again!!" He sobbed into my shoulder as rubbed my hand on the back of his head in reassurance.
"Raven, I don't want you to say such things. You had no power to object. And you know it." He wiped his tears and smiled weakly. Then it was his turn to catch me off guard when he kissed me. I blushed slightly then kissed him back. He leaned in an rested his head in my lap. I smiled as he closed his eyes. He was so adorable when he was sleeping.
Before I knew it the moon was high in the sky. Wait wasn't it just morning a minute ago?! Raven was still sleeping peacefully like he hadn't slept in ages. I smiled and got up trying not to disturb his sleep but he woke up.
"Good morning Newton..." He looked up at me.
"I love you"
