A couple of minutes later Yang walks into the cafeteria and sits at the table across from Blake."What's up?" She asks.
"Eh not much, how was talking with your sister?" Blake responds looking around the room. People have now flooded into the cafeteira and it almost feels as though they will be sitting shoulder to shoulder with people at their table.
"It was good. She just wanted to ask my opinion on something," She takes a moment and looks around. "You know what can we go back to my dorm? There's a whole lot more people than I originally thought there would be," Yang asks.
"Sure whatever works the best for you," Blake says. Both girls get up and walk back to Yang's dorm. Once they are outside her door. Yang unlocks it and they go inside. Yang's sister is nowhere to be found so she must've left a little after Yang. They sit down on a couch and talking.
"So, some storm that was?" Yang asks making some small talk.
"Yeah it was, no the worst we've had but definitely not the calmest one either,"
"Oh yeah for sure! Remember the one when it burned down the cafeteria?"
"Oh my god yes that was wild. I can't believe how quickly they rebuilt it!" Blake laughs. Yang smiles.
"Oh where are my manners do you want something to drink? Water, tea, soda, alcohol?" Yang asks standing up.
"Oh I think I will have to do tea. What kinds do you have?" Yang hums as she looks for the different kinds of tea she has in her cabinets.
"I've got mint, chamilie, and sleepytime. Do any of those tickle your interest?" Blake looks up at the ceiling and thinks. She then looks back and answers.
"I think mint would be best probably, I really don't care for chamilie and I'm not really looking to fall asleep any time soon," both of the girls giggle and then Yang nods.
"Gotcha I think I can do that," Yang says as she pulls out the box of mint tea. She grabs a kettle and pours some water into it. She puts the kettle on the stove and turns it o.
"Do you drink a lot of tea?" Blake asks as the other girl pulls out a mug and sets the tea bag into it.
"No, not really. But my sister is a bit more of a tea drinker than me," She opens a cabinet and pulls out a cereal box that as an abnormal shape to it. Blake turns around and lays on the back of the couch looking at the other girl.
"Are you making a late breakfast?" Yang shakes her head.
"Since my sister is still younger, we are not allowed to have alcohol in our room. Even though she doesn't drink, I do," She smirks as she reaches into the box and pulls out a mason jar that is mostly full of a blue liquid. Blake raises an eyebrow.
"What is your poison of choice?"
"This time it's moonshine. I'm pretty sure this is a blueberry or blue razzberry, and I honestly kind of like it more than I thought. My friend Nora offered me some last I hungout with her," Blake looks down at the floor. "Her and her boyfriend usually give me good drinks to try and so far I have to say, this might be their best recommendation to me," Blake nods.
"That's pretty cool," Blake says as Yang takes a sip.
"Do you want some?" She offers. Blake nods.
"Sure, I could try some," Blake responds nervous as this would be her first time having any form alcohol. Yang walks towards the other girl. She offers her the jar. Blake sniffs the liquid and curls her nose. She takes a sip and takes a moment to try and process the taste. She makes a face of disgust and Yang laughs.
"Not your favorite?" Blake shakes her head as she hands the jar back to the blonde.
"First time tying the stuff. Not for me," Blake states as she watches Yang walk back to put the jar away.
"What moonshine? I get it, a bit more of an acquired taste than other alcohol I've tried. Do you have a select drink you enjoy?" Blake shakes her head as Yang takes another sip of the moonshine.
"I am not one for to much alcohol. I think will stick with the tea thank you," Yang raises an eyebrow and takes another sip before putting the lid on the jar of moonshine.
"Have you ever had a drink before?" Blake shakes her head.
"No haven't really seen a need too. I don't have any obligation not to I just don't normally want to,"
"Shit Blake. Moonshine is like the worst thing for your to try. My bad. But kudos to you for not drinking all that much. So then I take it you aren't to big on parties or clubs?" Blake gives a soft chuckle.
"What do you think?" Yang smiles as she puts the jar of moonshine back in the box. She puts the box back where she found it.
"That's what I figured,"
"What about you? Are you big a party animal," Yang shrugs. The tea kettle screams out a loud high pitch scream letting the girls know that the water is boiled and ready to pour. Yang lifts the kettle up and turns the stove off. She carefully pours the water into the mug that she had set the tea bag in.
"A bit. I go to them here and there drink a bit, sometimes kiss a bit," Blake raises an eyebrow looking at Yang.
"Kiss?"
"Yeah. I just end up kissing people whenever I drink a lot. But nothing serious I think I still have one or two people trying to follow up on me," Yang smirks. Blake shakes her head.
"Nice," Blake says flatly. Yang brings Blake the mug filled with mint tea. Yang looks at the black haired girl for a moment. She realizes that maybe she shouldn't have said that but decides to try and save it.
"That was my freshman year though. I had a fake id that my friend had made for me. But super party Yang is behind me," She hands Blake the mug and the girl takes and smiles. She blows on the top trying to cool it off.
"That's pretty cool, I guess. Do you have any insane stories from your parties?" Yang nods.
"If I can remember any of them," They both laugh. "I think there was a party I went to like my first week or two here. The cops showed up but some pompous prick get them Carvin or Cadin I can't really recall," She walks back over to cabinets and starts going through them for food.
"Oh Cardin," Blake says quietly. Yang pops up and looks back to Blake.
"That's the one!" The blonde exclaims. "Yeah a massive prick, good parties though,"
"Why do you not like him?" Blake asks adjusting herself on the couch.
"Again he's a prick. But a dumb one," Yang calls out. "He tried to drug my drink at a party once I had set it down. Then forgot what drink he drugged and drank it. That was kind of funny," Blake lets out a laugh.
"Serves him right. The dude has hit me a time or two and campus security does nothing about it,"
"Of course they won't. Risk his family name and in turn risk their paycheck yeah. Let me know next time he lays hands on you. He'll catch mine in return," Yang states as she grabs a bag of chips and walks over to the other girl. She takes a seat on the couch close to her on the couch.
"I think I'll have to take you up on that offer. Maybe he could finally learn his lesson," Yang grabs the tv remote and switches on the tv. "What are we watching today?" Yang smiles and flips over to the dvd player logo on the screen and clicks on it. The title screen for 'Friday The 13th: Part 3' pops up on the tv screen. Blake's eyes light up with excitement. "Oh my god I love this movie!" The black haired girl exclaims. Yang looks at her and smiles. Maybe just a little to long as Blake looks at her and the two girls make eye contact. Blake smiles. They look away quickly blushing. Yang presses play on the movie and the horror film starts.
