Chapter 7: Lily's Group

Lily and her Mother arrived for lunch after Camilo asked me out. We were sitting next to each other when Lily walked in. I recognised her immediately. Lily and her friends were the girls that bullied Mari and I a few years ago. I thought that we could turn over a new leaf, but she had other thoughts. This bitch picked up an empty chair from the end of the table, pushed my chair over and put the empty chair next to Camilo. She gave me a look of disgust. "He's mine nerd," She said so that only I could hear. I tried to ignore her remarks, holding back tears as she made fun of me. Mari noticed and tried to shut her up, but reaped no reward.

I stood up apologised and ran to Camilo's room. "Y/N wait!" Camilo shouted running after me. Tears spilled out of my eyes as I sat on Cam's bed. I covered my face as the tears burst out. I quietly sobbed for about 10 seconds, then I heard yelling. I looked up and through the slightly open door I saw Camilo yelling at Lily down on the main floor. "MILO! Leave the nerd! You have me!" Lily yelled. I buried my face in my hands again, my face now soaked with tears. "You insulted my girlfriend!" Camilo yelled as he came into the room. He took my hands in his, looking into my eyes. He put his forehead on mine. We stood up, foreheads pressed together. He kissed me passionately to rub it in to Lily's face. "Why would you like an ugly nerd when I'm right here! A perfect-bodied, blue-eyed blondie!" She yelled. We fell onto Camilo's bed. I felt him smile through the kiss. Lily stormed out as her mother was yelling at Abuela. "Control your grandson! He cheated on my perfect Lily!" She yelled. Camilo and I were still glued to each other. I broke away and smiled. "We need popcorn." We said at the same time.

He shape shifted into the popcorn dealer who sells popcorn near the supermarket. He gave me two buckets of popcorn, and turned back. I gave him the other bucket and we sat in the doorway. "Camilo has been in love with Y/N for about 3 months! You're both self-entitled! Get out of my casita!" Abuela yelled at Lily and her mother. They stood there in shock. I looked at Camilo. "Let's rub it in even more." We stood in the doorway and kissed. I grabbed his ruana, pulling him closer. Lily and her mother screamed. "They are in love," Abuela said pointing to us. The casita shooed them out. We broke apart. 

We walked back to the kitchen. I saw Lily looking at me in envy. I gave her the middle finger and waved, with a baby face on. As we walked into the kitchen, Pepa formed a rainbow over her head. "Finally Lily and her mother will leave us alone!" Dolores said smiling. We finished lunch and I headed home, collapsing on my bed. I smiled to myself as I heard my brothers screaming again.

Summary: Lily is a bitch, we kissed twice to rub it in, and now Lily and her mother will leave the Madrigal's alone.
