Mummy Pig has had enough.

On the 14th of February, divorce papers were signed, and letters were sent to their children, who were attending Hogwarts, explaining what had happened between the two.

No, it didn't have much to do with Daddy Pig. That was the issue. Everything between them had gotten... boring, to say the least, and Mummy Pig craved adventure. So, tired of spending yet another Valentine's Day with Daddy Pig, mooching around the house, driving tea, and spending the day watching romance TV shows without much romance between themselves, Mummy Pig packed her bags and drove off in their blue van.

Now, both Peppa and George were old enough that they didn't need nor care for what their mother did, especially when they had owls in which they could use to easily communicate with her. Plus, with the two as the first pigs to attend Hogwarts, despite the school's name, too absorbed in magic to be bothered with their parents' relationship, the divorce didn't affect them too much. In fact, it had been something the two had been expecting.

Daddy Pig, on the other hand, was in a different state.

No, he wasn't upset about the divorce in the very least, as he felt the same as Mummy Pig, minus the adventure bit, that was. It wasn't that he liked boring days better than exciting ones, it was just Mummy Pig's idea of exciting was much different than his, and he'd rather spend his days on the couch watching TV than climb a mountain. This was better for the both of them: Mummy Pig got her adventure, and Daddy Pig got his days in peace without someone forcing him to do something "exciting".

Anyway, what was now keeping him awake at night was the situation of his name. Should it be kept as "Daddy Pig"? Sure, it wasn't false, but it was a bit weird since he and his ex-wife had had matching names, and along with that he had heard news that she was changing hers to Brenda and was wondering if he ought to change his name as well. It would really embrace the new single and hip him, wouldn't it? But on the other hand, he didn't want her to think that he was copying her.

After a long night of thinking, he came to the conclusion that he'll keep it as Daddy Pig, considering that Mummy Pig - no, Brenda - had changed hers and they were no longer matching.

Sighing, Daddy Pig closed his eyes, feeling peace finally fall over him, pulling his dark green - his favorite color - blanket higher up until it touched his chin. As he slipped away into sleep, his hands unconsciously moved to the side of his bed, where it was empty and cold, his hands curling into a fist, feeling a flicker of loneliness. But he knew that it wasn't caused by Brenda's leave... No, it had always been there. It needed to be filled by someone, but who?

Little did he know that thousands of miles away, a wide-awake blonde boy was the answer to his problem.

Draco Malfoy tossed and turned in his bed, unable to fall asleep. He hadn't been particularly looking forward to returning to Hogwarts after the Battle of Hogwarts to finish up the seventh year he'd missed in the first place, but this was just getting ridiculous. No, it wasn't mock from the others - that much he'd anticipated - but what he hadn't predicted was that the school, with its new morals and all about being more inclusive, was going to let pigs join. Literal pigs!

When he'd demanded to know why Hogwarts was now accepting pigs (just because its name was pig-related, doesn't mean that their students had to consist of such species), he was told that even pigs had "magic potential" and to please not refer to them as such, as they find it offensive.

What's so offensive about it? They're pigs! Literally!

Everything was going downhill. Draco missed the days where he could throw around the term "Mudblood" with little retaliation. He'd had enough with this. He was going to leave Hogwarts. There was nothing much left that the school could teach him, anyway. He was of age, an adult, and felt no need to spend his days in a school that was willing to taint themselves with such things.

Rolling out of bed, Malfoy found his wand, moving quickly and quietly so as to not disturb his roommates. He didn't care much for them and would certainly be annoyed if they were to be awakened and question him. Flicking his wand, Draco watched as his belongings packed themselves nicely and neatly into his trunk, before changing quickly and storing his wand in his robes, striding across the school to collect some bread, and made his way onto the grounds without being detected by Filch. There, he summoned his trunks, and dragged them into Hogsmeade, where he apparated away.

Whilst all this was happening, a plan had formed in Malfoy's mind. He wanted to get away from the Wizarding World. It might seem weird of him, but he needed a new start. His family and himself weren't nearly being treated as nicely as they were before - there was no way he was going to be able to go on with his life without judgement from others. Plus, by accepting the pigs into Hogwarts, the Wizarding World itself was embracing that idea. Sure, it was only school now, but how long would it be until they joined the Ministry of Magic?

Draco shuddered at the thought. He was certain that when that day came, if he and the pigs were competing for the same position, one might choose the pig over him simply because of his background. That was a world he didn't want to live in.

Malfoy travelled to Gringotts, took out a hefty amount of his family's fortune as Muggle money, then apparated yet again into the Muggle world. There, he decided, he'd have his new start.

Little did he know that this decision would change his life forever.
