have you ever been to prom?

felix, which has been mentioned in the previous chapter, has been to prom a few times.

he wouldn't say he's an expert - rather he shows up and looks pretty.

but this time round, he was going to have to do more than just "look pretty".

that doesn't even require effort anyway.

"what i'm saying is that you can literally show up to prom in a garfield fursuit and chan would still swoon over you"

jisung was hunched over, murmuring to felix as he rummaged through his makeup bag.

he had proposed the idea of buyinng suits and sorting out their outfits for the prom to the aussie so they could surprise their boyfriends.

yeah, you heard me right.

it was just last week that minho had finally asked jisung to be his boyfriend.

as stated ages ago, the two boys were hopelessly in love with each other for over a year.

of course, the obliviousness had clouded their minds too much to the point where neither of them realised just how foolishly head over heels they were.

all it took was a simple coffee date, a walk home and a peck on the lips for minho to ask the big question.

so now, in jisung style, he wanted to and was going to look his best for his new lover.

however, felix wasn't feeling so confident.

earlier in the day, they had went to the mall (the very same mall that chan and felix met, mind you) and went shopping for suits.

he settled for a minimalistic but cute black suit, with ruffles at the end of his sleeves.

ditching the tie, felix went for a baby pink bow because.. he doesn't need a reason.

pink is a pretty colour!

there wasn't much spice to it but he hoped that his makeup and hair would make up for the simplicity.

jisung went for a white suit with a black collar and bowtie.

his words were as followed:

"unleash your inner mayonnaise"

and all felix could do was stand and stare at him in the middle of the aisle surrounded by many other different suits.

words aside, jisung looked phenomenal and picking a white suit was just exactly what he needed to do.

felix turned around from observing himself in the mirror to give jisung a look.

"i'm just not confident hanji.. are you sure i'll look fine?"

his voice was quiet and softly spoken, in a tone that jisung could decipher as vulnerable as the older (by one day) swung around in his seat.

felix examined his shirtless figure in the mirror, eyes darting ferociously across every area of his chest and torso.

he felt his arms unconsciously wrap around his bare torso, in a way that swore to protection and insecurity.

jisung had known felix long enough to know that he was a rather insecure person.

he also knew that chan wasn't going to ever be someone to prioritise looks over personality so he knew well enough that felix didn't have to worry.

but saying that directly to someone as fragile as felix can be quite insensitive.

the corners of jisung's lips perked up.
