The birds were singing as I stepped out of my black car with suitcases in hand. Traffic was a mess but I finally was home. I strained my bowtie and patted down my suit before walking to the white front door.

"Sweetheart! Kids! I'm home!" I announced as I opened the door.

"Daddy!" Yelled a young boy and young girl coming from the ceiling above me.

The sound of running resonated from the ceiling before two children came running down the stairway.

Before me was a black and white little demon boy named Bendy and a demon/angel hybrid teenage girl named Allison running to greet me. Bendy latched to my right leg while Allison hugged me.

"Honey, you home," said an angelic voice coming from the kitchen.

The house began to shake as heavy footsteps boomed from the kitchen. Then a wall of inky black filled the doorway becoming wedged in between the doorframe.

"Oof, honey, I think I'm stuck, again," said a very obese black and white angel woman with devil horns named Alice.

*Laughter*

"Don't worry sweetheart, I'll get the butter but this time, don't eat it before I apply it," I said putting my hands on my waist.

*Laughter*

"Don't worry father, I'll help mother," replied Allison.

Allison walked across the room to a second door that led into the kitchen. Bendy then let go of my leg and began to jump in front of me to get my attention.

"Daddy, daddy, do you want to play catch today," he said excitedly.

I looked down at him with a smile, "not today, boy. Daddy had a long day at work," I said exhaustively.

Bendy suddenly stopped jumping as his face began to grow dark and his eye began to twitch.

"H-how about tomorrow, we can even go fishing too," I said hastily.

Bendy quickly turned back to his happy self, bouncing with joy.

"Yey," he cheered before running upstairs.

I breathe a sigh of relief.

"Honey, dinner will be ready within the hour," Alice said, eating a stick of butter as Allison rubbed her mom's sides with another stick of butter.

"Thanks sweetheart, I'll be at the tube watching some shows." I waved.

I walked into the black and white living room, filled with black and white furniture like; a cabinet, chairs, lamps, and a rug. I turned on the television and slumped into the black leather armchair with an exhausted sigh.

The television cracked as the static danced across the screen. I lazily picked up the remote and changed the channel. Another static screen. I changed again, static. Again, static.

I put down the remote and stared at the screen as if something was on. I would occasionally look up at the clock seeing how much time has passed before returning to the crackling black and white screen.

I sat there for a whole hour going back and forth between the clock and the television. The boredom was driving me crazy but I knew better than to act to remedy it.
