The waves grabbed my ankles,
Had no time to even comprehend what was happening,
Dragged under the waves before I could take a breath of air.
Further, into the depths of the ocean, I tried to swim up towards the surface
But the more I struggled the more I was yanked downwards.
Never thought this was how I would die,
from drowning, suffocation, immersed in the water.
Unfortunately, my body begins to no longer struggle,
In my peripheral vision, I begin to see black spots.
I involuntarily start to no longer rise but sink to the ocean floor.
It feels as if a weight has been placed on my chest and is weighing me down.
The last thing I feel is a thousand hands grabbing and pulling me down.
