The setting is of a train station in the freezing weather, the station has fallen into noon and barely any people are waiting.

The man takes a step into Italy's new year festival witnessing massive parades and confetti.
The colored pieces of paper and ribbon cover the concrete roads as the people from the train station hours ago are mingling with thousands more people from the neighbour hood.
The young man scans the crowd carefully as he wanders the parade...
His phone rings and he hides in a corner to answer it so he can hear the other line; "Abbaccio?" The man on the other line replies "Yeah it's me Bruno, that stand user you're looking for should be in Italy... Look for a kid".
Bruno asks confused "A kid?" Abbaccio says unhappily "I would give you more description but that's all I got from our boss's lower capo".
The black haired male stands still in thought and asks "Are you sure there isn't anything else?"
Abbaccio says in a serious tone "You will know if it's a stand user or not Bruno, unfortunately that's all we know".
Bruno shuts off his phone and turns his head to the loud parade in discomfort.
A feminine hand traces on the man's chest, a woman with medium length hair says flirtatously "Hey Buccarati, you still taking care of kids?"
Bruno is frozen in place out of astonishment and asks "Do I know you?"
She kisses his cheek and says "You don't need to, I can make you a real daddy if you want".
He politely excuses himself from the desperate woman and breaks into a run.

The male calms himself slowly from his pounding heart and spots three kids playing by a garbage can.
He looks at them a little disgusted when one in particular pops their head out of the garbage can.
He walks over to them and asks "Shouldn't you kids be with your parents?"
The kids scram while screaming, "STRANGER DANGER!", except for the one in the trash, she sits there and shouts "Where are you guys going!?"
She sits back down on the pile upset, Bruno asks "Shouldn't you be with your parents?"
The kid replies "My mum ran ages ago..."
Bruno crosses his arms and says "What mother would do that at the biggest festival of the year?"
The kid asks "Are you my dad?"
He turns his full attention to the little girl suprised and says "No I'm not sorry miss, uh, let me help you find your mother".
The girl nods and reaches her hands to him, he picks her up and starts walking.
He asks her while entering the crazy streets once more "What's your name?", she replies "Y/n, what's yours mister?"
He can't help but smile at the cute little girl and says "I am Bruno Buccarati, do you know what your mum looks like?"
Y/n nods and says "She has short hair that looks like mine!" Bruno nods to show her he's listening.
She continues "Mum also is mean, and hangs around guys".
His smile fades in concern then the girl shouts "There!" He follows where her hand is point to find it's the desperate slut from before...
He stops in his tracks and asks uneasily "Are you sure..?" The girl nods.
He takes a deep breath and approaches the woman, she laughs while flirting with another guy.
Bruno says angrily "You ditched your daughter Miss".
The woman turns around and her expression falls to an annoyed one, she says "Oh, right, Y/n. Give the brat to me".
Bruno sets the girl down and
Y/n smiles brightly, the woman asks pushing aside the kid "So have you thought about my offer Buccarati~?"
Y/n slaps her mother's leg and the adult woman growls "Back off kid! You always ruin my chances with young men!"
Bruno firmly stands in irritation and says "You have proven to me you are not a respectful mother, I apologize but I have no choice but to remove the child from your care".
The woman retort angrily "Fuck it! Take her for all I care! She is a brat anyway!"
Bruno takes Y/n's hand, kneeling on the ground, and says "I'll take care of you, how does that sound?"
The little girl brightens up and jumps into the man's arms, Bruno smiles proudly and stands up straight.
He says "Have a good day Miss, I hope whatever falls for you is a poor bastard".
The woman screams at him in fury as he walks away...

Bruno did as he said and kept his word to protect the little girl, a year has passed and sitting at Y/n's fifth birthday Abbaccio and Bruno stand talking with their voices low.
Abbaccio says angrily "You have to stop taking in strays Bruno, this is ridiculous", Bruno replies while holding his mouth to his hand staring at the floor, "She's the stand user".
The purple haired male asks in irritation "Not from what I can see!"
They both turn to see Y/n in her clean shark onesie chowing down slices of cake and Narancia mirroring her out of joy, Fugo stares at Narancia in disgust.
Bruno says "I thought I lost the stand user, but when I saved Y/n and gave her a bath she turned into a shark and almost bit me..."
His friend beside him swallows down hard and asks "You better not be messing with me Bruno".
Bruno replies "I'm not, for whatever reason La Squadra has demanded for her to be in their custody, I don't think they realize she's a child".
Bruno says with worry in his eyes "I care about this kid, Abbaccio, please protect her no matter the cost if I'm not around".
Abbaccio stares at the kid and says with crossed arms "Alright".
