Chapter 7 - ☆Bruno's Frustration☆ - FINAL CHAPTER

《Bruno's POV》
I spent a long time trying to find Y/n again, weeks, days, months, sometimes I wonder if La Squadra has already filled her mind with horrible ideas.

What if she has already forgotten about me, the poor sweetheart.

Her mother has been calling me and not for the reason you think, she is genuinely asking if I've found her daughter yet..

Lora sounds less confident every day when I tell her I haven't yet.

I decide to ask bluntly; "Why did you become a prostitute Lora?"

Lora falls silent on the other side of the line, this time she finally answers my question.

Lora replies "I became one because as soon as my husband, Jack, left I felt like I wasn't deserving of love, turns out I recently found out that endless sex doesn't fix anything and it hurt a lot more when my daughter was taken".

I ask interested, "So you so care about Y/n?"

Lora raises her voice "Of course I do! I gave birth to her! I raised her when Jack fucked off to go to work! When Y/n was taken from me I felt like the last real affection I had was stolen because of me!"

I press; "So you think you're the reason Jack left", Lora shouts "I am! He said I wasn't fun enough-".

I let her take a few breaths and say "I'm doing everything in my power to save your daughter and I've got a lead, have a good night Miss Lora and please take it easy".

Lora disconnects the phone and I rest my own device on the desk I was leaning against.

I stare outside the window in anger to see Proscuitto carrying Y/n down on the other side of the street.

Y/n's POV》
Risotto asks "So you've finally accepted that fact Y/n is one of us?"

Proscuitto replies embarrassed "I suppose you could say it like that.."

Risotto asks "She's quite entertaining isn't she?" The blonde nods while poking my face.

I laugh and try to bite his finger, he pulls his hand back in suprise.

Bruno steps out of the shadows behind us and says "Risotto, hand her over".

Risotto turns to face him in disgust, Proscuitto holds me tighter and backs away a few steps.

Bruno looks at me with worry and says "Her mother is worried about her", Risotto throws metal blades towards the capo.

《Risotto's POV》
I grit my teeth when Bruno narrowly misses the weapons. Bruno pleads "Give Y/n back! She must be devastated-".

He ducks from another one of my sharpener blades, I yell "Proscuitto! Stop standing around and take Y/n away!"

The little girl watches in confusion as both Bruno and I fight with our stands, the more confusion filled her as she witnessed the hate between her parental figures.

A familiar emotion radiates from the situation within her like her parents Lora and Jack, she starts to cry.

Bruno and I halt in our fighting stances, we turn around to Proscuitto who was halfway down the street unsure of how to handle the crying child.

I say feeling concerned "Y/n.." even Bruno is more worried too.

Proscuitto struggles to hold Y/n as she attempts to climb out of his arms.
