" Sidharth was scolding Aarav for his mischief in the hospital to which aarav made a face and shrugged. Sidharth raised his eyebrow at him.

"Should I call mom and dad and tell them. They will be very angry. " Shehnaaz muttred to herself and pouted.

"I think I should buy a lottery ticket." Her face lit up for a moment at the thought. But then chuckled.

"How dare I. Since I was a kid, I only won a coke bottle. Why I'm so unlucky." She mumbled stomping her feet, whining and sulking like a child.

She reached in park near a tree when she noticed a cat climbed on the tree. She was meowing softly. "My God, how can you climb so high?" She said. She kept her foot on a big stone and kept her hand kn branch. She climbed and picked up the cat. She was about to fall when she felt two strong arms gripped her securely. When she opened her eyes she noticed her best friend karan.

"Karan, how come it's you." She asked in surprise.

"I've helped you again." He said.

"You've gone to abroad. When you came back? You didn't even tell me." Shehnaaz asked him string of question

"I just came back." He said, a small smile playing on his lips. "Is this your cat?" He asked.

"No its not mine. I saved it from the trees." She said

"I don't know if it is hurt. My studio is nearby. Why don't we take it to check?" Karan said.

"Sure, let's go."

Shehnaaz and karan reached to the studio. "It's beautiful." Shehnaaz complimented.

"Hello, Dr. Karan" One of his staff greeted him. "Hello." He greeted back.

"This is my new physiological clinic. Let's go to my office. " Shehnaaz nodded , catvin her hands.

"Wow all these are yours cats." Her eyes lit up when she saw a cabin of cats.

"Did you still love cats?" She asked amused. "I still remember when we were in college you specially placed a dozen of wood huts for stray cats in campus and feed them." She said in a happy tone.

"I'm a very happy as a cat person. Money I earn from the clinic is used to rescue stray animals. Karan said wearing a glove. "Come let me see you." He said grabbing the cat from shehnaaz's hand. "It's okay, but just a little malnourished." He said examining the cat carefully.

"You seem so professional." She said happily. "Do you want raise it." Karan asked her. Her eyes lit up but then she thought for a moment.

"Of course I do. But it's too small. I'm afraid I can't take care of it." She said thoughtfully. "OR I just leave it with you. It's enough for me to look at it every day when I get off work." She came up with the idea. Her eyes looking expectantly at karan. "Yes of course." Karan replied matching her enthusiasm. Shehnaaz opened the cabinet door and karan kept the careful in it.

"I heard about you and Mr. Shukla." Karan said to shehnaaz hesitantly.

"Even the ladies of our society congratulating me on my promotion to top class." Her mother exaggerated to shoe her how hurt she was.

"It's like you don't want to be congratulated." Shehnaaz muttred under her breath. "Dear daughter." Her mother said in sweet tone taking her hand and checking her pulse from her wrist.

"Are you pregnant?" She asked in a muffled tone. Shehnaaz eyes widened. "I'm not pregnant." She yelled freeing her hand. Listen to me mom.

"I and sidharth, our marriage is fake."

"Fake".

Shehnaaz told them the entire scene from the beginning.

"But..." There is no but... she cut them off showing her hand. "Tonight I'll sleep on the couch, you two will sleep in my bedroom." She said to dismiss them.

"I just saw a storage room over there. You clean it. Your dad and me can live there for some days." Shehnaaz gasped. She tried to speak but her mother didn't let her. "That's it."
