Líadan Violet Lynch is a hurricane mixed with a little sunshine that's in disguise as a sunflower. A girl with a fiery temper, blunt personality, and no filter born to a family of introverted people and at times, she can be just as introverted as them. But, unlike her younger cousin, she loves sports, especially baseball.

And at a young age, she decides that she's gonna put herself out into the world, even more than she already is. Líadan is a redhead with a thick Irish accent, which is just a bit naturally attention attracting. But she also decides that she's never going to fall in love, after the devastating loss of her twin brother.

Instead, she just loves herself and strives to be the best version of herself, which is a lot harder than most people would think.

She is so used to being an outcast by the time of her senior year of high school, she didn't even notice how weird the family she befriends. Everyone else does, however, and they are dying to know what makes Líadan so different from everyone else.

The only truly unusual thing she notices about the family is Jasper Hale. Jasper always seems to be in agony when around certain people and Líadan wants to figure out why.

So, she makes it her undying mission to make Jasper laugh, which happens to be the start of something bewildering and stunning that unfortunately quickly goes to hell, showing Jasper that there could be a human more dangerous than him but still just as loving as Esme as well as showing Líadan that Jasper isn't as human as he seems and is much more dangerous than just a human.

But could it have been fate, not chance?
