ʙᴏɴᴛᴇɴ ᴋᴀᴋᴜᴄʜᴏ

     only the sound of the water from the shower filled the silence of the room. i was laying on the bed, scrolling through my phone while waiting for kakucho to finish, he has promised me a date.

     soon as i saw the bathroom door opened, i suddenly stood up and ready to head on my way out.

    “and where do you think you're going?” kakucho asked as he chuckled, swiftly grabbing my hand.

     “outside?...” i answered hesitantly and gave a soft innocent smile after. he gently wrapped his arms around my waist and i just melted onto his embrace.

     “okay, ya know how much i love when you do this but you gotta get ready or else we'll be late.” i said, slowly pulling out my body from him. he just laughed seeing how excited.

     he's always busy and barely have some alone time with me. thankfully mikey gave him a two days off so we can spend the weekends together, or so i thought...

     “alright, i'll be there.” was all i got to hear when i entered the bedroom to see if kakucho was done.

     “baby, so i promised you a date. right?” he softly asked and i looked at him for a second and then nodded.

     “i have to go, mikey just called me.” he explained.

     “you said that i'd get to have you all weekend. why can't you just tell them that you can't go?” i said in a sad voice as i pouted.

     “because it's my job, and it's important.” he responded. his hand made its way to my cheek, gently caressing it with his thumb.

     “and i'm not?” the smile that was on my face turned into a frown. i kinda got mad because he promised you something and this was the only time i'll have him all to myself, but i was wrong.

     “i promise to make this quick, so we can have some more time together. alright?” he kissed my forehead then on the tip of my nose and hugged me. i just nodded as an answer. as much as i want him to stay, i've got no choice.

     so here i am, sitting on the couch watching a movie while eating an ice cream all ALONE.
