(((Flash-Back Before The Ship)))

The fire crackled sending embers flying into the midnight sky. There was no doubt that everyone was having a good time laughing and singing around the fire. The youngest amongst them was a thirteen year old girl named,  Alyssa. She was the shyest out of them all as well. She hardly ever talked unless Reneta was around. That was the only person she felt comfortable with.

She of course sat next to Reneta and watched the others have fun around the fire. Reneta would sign to Alyssa to let her know what was going on. What was being said and what not. She of course would laugh because of course she was just a child. But it was good for her to laugh. Ever since escaping the lab, they all struggled and worried they'd be recaptured by Doctor Kaccius and Doctor Samuel.

The group acted like they were finally free and Reneta was grateful. She had always pulled them together and this was sweet pleasure to her. To see everyone happy and having fun. But little did she know it wasn't going to stay that way though. No.... She could hear these slight clicking sounds coming from the forest behind her. The clicks became more and more intense as she continued to listen to them. There was no doubt that there was like four or maybe five of whatever was making those sounds behind her and Alyssa.

Slowly she signed for her to go back to her cabin. Yeah there was a few cabins where they were staying. Nothing fancy or anything, but they kept them warm none the less. Alyssa looked at Reneta, she was confused but nodded and did what she told her to do.

Once Reneta couldn't see Alyssa and the clicking sounds sounded almost upon her and the others, she turned to look at the forest behind her. For a moment there seemed like nothing was there, dark and creepy like always, but she knew better. Slowly she stood and walked to the trees formed into dense forest.

I can sense them, she thought to herself while folding her arms around her chest. It was a lot colder away from the fire. You could hardly feel it from where she was standing. The clicking was right next to her. She could hear it clear as day, but she just stood there and acted like nothing was wrong. One's standing next to me. I can feel his body heat next to me. She didn't really know if it was a he, she was kind of guessing. But there was massive body heat coming from just to the left of her. That was something that couldn't be hidden.

From behind her, Reneta could hear Marcus call out to her. She turned to look his way and waved. He folded his arms huffing then turned back to the group. She smiled shaking her head a little then turned back to the void of darkness that laid into of her.

Clicks started up again. The one next to her was communicating with others a few feet in front of her. The clicks were getting more intense until a scream rang out from the cabins. Reneta turned quickly but was grabbed the moment she did and without thinking she thrusted her hand towards her captor's chest?? Or what she thought was his chest, and it went flying back hitting at the base of a tree.

Her eyes widened when she saw a almost ten foot tall alien uncloak itself and was hunched over against the tree. He wasn't died, no he was looking at her in shock of what had just happened. But before she could even react to what was happening, another one came full stride up to her hitting her face causing her to crash to the ground blacking out.

After the onslaught, the aliens finally collected everyone and headed back to the ship. Reneta came to for a moment to see that she was being carried. Most likely being draped over one of their shoulders because all she could see in that moment was a pair of really big legs and the metal flooring, but she wasn't awake long enough to see anything else. It just went black again and from there she was out like a light.
