"I remember the day when I told them my secret. I couldn't hold it in any longer, they needed to know the truth. I allowed my anger to get the best of me and you see where that has gotten me, Greenville State Penitentiary in Greenville, Pennsylvania. I honestly regret that particular night behind that building. Things could've gone so differently but I guess I'm saying this out of anger due to the fact that my actions caused me to receive a life sentence without the possibility of parole."

"Smith, let's go! You have a visitor waiting for you in the waiting area." I was utterly confused because I haven't had a visitor since I was transferred to this facility. Soon as I was escorted into the waiting, I saw my Mother who immediately embraced me when I was released from the shackles. "My goodness baby I've missed you so much! Its not easy traveling from Georgia to Pennsylvania to come see you." I just sat and listened to my Mom talk about how things are at home after I left. I was waiting for her to mention my kids so that way I could know what was going on with them but , something was definitely up. " How are my girls?' I asked. Her face turned pale with panic because she knew I wasn't ready or willing to hear what she was about to tell me. "I haven't heard or seen the girls in almost a year... Darryl won't allow me to see them" Darryl is my Ex-Fiancé and the Father of my children. He has always been an asshole when it comes to the custody of our children. I originally had custody of them until I went to prison and then the judge awarded custody of the children to him. Worse mistake ever. "Well... When was the last time you spoke to him or You don't remember?" " I last saw the girls at the 4th of July cookout last year I hosted but after that, I haven't heard or seen from them. I think his new wife may have something to do with it. You know he was always the type of follow behind a woman and do what she says. If she tell him to jump, He'll probably ask How High?" New Wife? When did this Joker get married? I know me and him didn't have the best relationship but someone actually married him? She must've been desperate for a man because he would've been the last person I would've chosen to marry. " Times Up! Visitation is now over. All Visitors must return the Check in desk and all Inmates remain seated. Again, All visitors please return to the check in desk and all Inmates remain seated. "Bye Mom." "Bye Daija, I love You!"" I Love You too, Mom!" As I waited for Guard to place me in shackles again, I noticed someone across the waiting room who looks real familiar to me, as if we used to run together back in the day. We ended up making eye contact with other from across the room. Oh shit. I recognize that face from anywhere but the bitch lucky I'm already in prison and is currently in shackles because I could've walked up to her and beat the living shit out of her.

Later on that evening, I received word that a new Inmate was coming to my cell. I was too happy about it because I've been alone in this cell since I arrived here almost 6 months ago. "Inmate Smith this is Inmate Davis, She'll be your new cellmate" I gave her a look to let her know I run this cell and majority of the shit in here is mine and she better not touch it . "Hi, I'm Davis, but you can call me Honey." "I'm not on that gay shit but I'm Pinky." My real name is Daija Smith but I prefer to go by Pinky. I'll explain where the name Pinky comes from. "So Pinky, How long do you have in here?" "Life without the possibility of Parole. What about you? How you gone be in here?" "15 for Fraud" That's not bad compared to me, especially when YOU know for a fact you didn't actually commit the crime nor was the master mind behind it. "Pinky, Do you have kids?" When I looked up, I saw that she was looking at the picture I taped to the wall of my girls. "2 Girls. A'Yoni and Dlanea" I proceeded to show her more pictures of them. "A'Yoni is the youngest, She's 3 and Dlanea is 6." I was so excited to talk about girls until I came across a picture of them with  Darryl. "You OK? Your whole mood changed instantly when you saw this pic- That must be their father?" I just shook my head in a yes motion. "I'm guessing he doesn't bring them here to you?" "Nah, I'm not originally from here. I'm from Atlanta and If I'm not mistaken, I do believe that's where they stay." Honey gave me this confused look and I explained to her I haven't heard from him or the girls since I went to prison and that my mom hasn't heard from them since last year. "It ain't no way I could keep my children from their Mother. At some point, they'll start to ask about you." We continued out conversation until the alarm went off. "Why are they sounding an alarm like there's a fire in the building?" "It's just letting us inmates know that it's 8pm and it means light off" After Honey and I finished our conservation, I couldn't help but think about seeing that girls face earlier. I don't remember her name but I surely don't forget faces.
