+chapter one+

You wake up to your alarm you roll over to hit the off button. You sit up stretching you hear your back crack. Yawning you get up shuffling to the bathroom to brush your teeth and hair. You finish up and walked back into your room grabbing your uniform for the pizza plex. It was the first day you would be working for the pizza plex. The caretaker of the daycare attendants moondrop and sundrop. You were excited to say the least. You pulled the button up shirt and black pants on and clipping on your nametag. You slipped on your shoes and grabbed your keys before walking out of your apartment locking it up behind you. You got to your car hopped in and begin the 10 min drive to the pizza plex.

You made you way into the plex as you walked through the entrance you were met by a map bot scaring the absolute shit out of you. You sigh looking at it gripping the map. You open it up seeing that the daycare was not to far from your current spot. You begin to walk to the little gates and opened one and walked through making your way to the stairs. You walked to the daycare entrance the main way in bedside from the pick up was a slide. You sigh your almost definitely gonna get stuck if you go through that plus you could barely see due to the lights being out in the daycare. You prepared to go down the slide seeing as there was no other way into the daycare. You sit down and push yourself down into a the slide and unsurprisingly you got stuck at the end of the slide you tried to wiggle your way out with a huff you stopped and tried to call for the daycare animatronic you'd been told about "sundrop could you help me out of the slide!?" You shouted out hopping he'd hear and help you. You heard the sound of shuffling in the ball pit. "Sun?" You asked while shuffling yourself around in the slide you felt a cold hand grab your ankle before yanking you out of the slide. You gasp lightly seeing moondrop you presumed. He looked at you before chuckling to himself lightly. "You must be the new caretaker, (y/n) was it?" He said questioning the name he said for an second before nodding to himself. He still had you hung upside down. "Can you put me down now?" You asked slightly impatient he chuckled before dropping you straight into the ball pit. You make your way back to the surface of the ball pit before glaring at moon. You walk to the side and pulled yourself out of the ball pit, then walked to the security desk clocking in. Grabbing the flashlight off the wall you point the flashlight at checklist that was left for you. You let out a hum lightly and read over it quickly. "Okay so i need to clean the play structures then i need to make sure moon and sun are working properly." You say reading out loud. You saw moon pacing back and forth between the two ends of the desk. You grab the flashlight off of the wall. You walk over to one of the many entrances to the play structures and began crawling through trying to find any leftover items from the kids. A few minutes pass and you felt the play structure shake you look around seeing nothing you just assume it was moondrop messing with you. Before you got to continue crawling you where met by moon's face about two inches apart from yours. "HOLY SHIT!" you shouted dropping your flashlight. You heard moon bursts out laughing. The small space was illuminated by a red glow due to moons eyes. "Such naughty language for a daycare." Moon said tilting his head to the side. You mumbled an apology and scrambled to grab your flashlight. You sigh lightly and continue to remove trash from the play structure. Moon follows behind you shaking the structure.

You were finally able to stand on your feet rather then crawling around. You crack your back before turning to moon who just emerged from the play structure. "Would you mind taking this to the lost and found?" You asked moon holding out the bag of assorted items kids left here. He nodded slightly and grabbed the bag walking off with it. You called out a thank you before carrying the bag of trash you collected to the trash can. You toss it in and wait patiently for moon to return. While waiting you realise that the light aren't supposed to be off this long are they? You look around for a light switch. "Hey moon do you know were the light switch is?" You call out hopping he could hear you. You hear him shuffle over. "Why do you want turn the lights on?" He asks with a slight whine. "Im pretty sure they're not supposed to be out for this long ." You explain plainly as you continue to look for a sort of switch. He mumbles something about sunny. You see a light swich on the wall and reach out to flick it but before you get to touch it you feel a cold hand grab your wrist. You gasp at the feeling. "M-Moon??" your voice waivers slightly due to being nervous. "I want you to myself, sun gets to have fun all day its my turn." Moon mumbled to you. "Moon are you jealous of sun?" You asked surprised, doesn't sun and moon take care of the kids?? you thought to yourself. "Here how about i turn on the lights for about an hour so i can do a check up on sun and introduce myself to him then we can hang out after. seem reasonable to you moon?" You said as moon releases your hand with a small huff "fine." Moon grumbled "but after the hour is up you'll let me back out right?" Moon asked looking at you head slightly tilted. "Mhm after the hour is up ill spend the rest of my shift with you hows that sound?" You ask Moon hums in agreement. You reach for the switch turning the lights on.
