A Not So Love Story

Chapter 2 : New Mission

Bubble's Pov

After the small talks, Akane and I get back to our respective rooms. We didn't have any roommates but it allows 2-4 people in each room. The room has a dual compartment, it is a type of Murphy bed. Murphy bed has a pull-down bed below to prevent any accidents according to the school. Usually, these are the beds of all the students here aside from a double deck bed that has an upper and lower bed.

We also practice space-saving before we enter the school for other safety purposes. Our room was filled with white paintings and has two bed's side to side.  It has a built-in aircon and a single shower room.
Akane and I also utilized the cleanliness of our room so after getting back from school we cleaned it according to our assigned task I do mine with vacuuming the room and she does other arrangements of things.

However, I'm still confused about her. Didn't expect that she might be one of the supreme students. She is my best friend and I thought I knew all of her secrets and I was wrong.

While she was taking a shower, I see some piece of crumpled paper lying in the bed. It has written words from Akane,

"Kael please don't be dumb! don't let Amelie join our stupid show."

My eyes get widened, why?

I heard the shower stop. I turn around on her while showing the piece of paper I found. "Why?" I asked.

"Amelie.." She said.

"I said why? Can't you just explain to me, please? " I asked politely.

She signed. She dressed up her sleeping clothes while doesn't look at me. She sit down in the bed and shook her head. I'm not mad, I just want to know her explanation.

" Bubbles, that paper is written two months ago. Kael wants you to join. He's just waiting for you to know all of this. He tells me that the perfect girl who will bring Mr. President back will be you. And as you remember earlier no one tries or no.. " she paused. I eventually stop the vacuum and sit beside her.

"What no? "

"The girl you see in the school canteen..... got slapped by Anais. She is one of us. She tries to report Anais, but Anais... has servants aside from Demi and Devan. We don't who the hell is...

"We cannot do anything, though Mr.president knew..." She paused.

" Knew what? "

" Knew Anais "

" She knew Anais but he doest done anything?! " I mumbled.

"Hey! Be quite! Someone might hear us. " she whispered.
I lower my voice, "What is the connection between them?

" Anais is her.....

"Her????"

"ex-girlfriend " she whispered.

My jaw dropped with surprise. So Anais gets Mr. President!?

So his standard for girls might be low and cheap. WHAT I'M THINKING!? NO BUBBLES

" Then why me? "

"The first time I talk with Kael, he mentioned you, because you're the most trusted person I have"... "you know our identity is still hidden we get punished if someone knew us"

" I still don't get it"

We heard some noises thru the shower room. We stay quiet for a while. We grab hard object besides as if some bad people enter and heard a voice,

" Sorry for being late the school guards are there.." while entering.

"wowowooah! Stop! He shouted.

"Who are you!!!?---" I hit the vacuum and he hastily shields his arms to it.
