Chapter Fourteen

When Shen Meihua woke up, her mouth was dry, she got up with her hands on the bed, and got out of bed to pour water.

This sleep was a little unsteady, and the face and back were always itchy, as if there were insects crawling.

She walked to the mirror with the water glass in her hand, and looked at the face that appeared in the mirror. There was no trace of mosquito bites on it. Recalling the itchy feeling when she was sleeping, she took a few glances and retracted her gaze. She remembered that there were mosquito repellents in the treasure bag. Water, take it out and spray it at night.

Shen Meihua walked a few steps in the house, thinking of going back to the original owner's house tomorrow, she pulled the small box from the bottom of the bed, opened it, and pulled out a large group.

The cloth she bought was intended for Mother Shen to make clothes for Dali and Yuanbao. She was fine with sewing and mending clothes, but she couldn't do the technical work of making clothes.

Shen Meihua flashed into the space, removed the cotton quilt, grabbed some cotton from the inside, put it in the treasure bag, and kept taking it out until she had nearly two pounds of cotton, and put it all together with the cloth she bought. Packed in a cloth bag.

After it was done, it was getting late, so I rushed out of the space to prepare dinner.

Shen Meihua went to the kitchen and put the hand-rolled noodles left over from noon into the pot, put some small green vegetables in it, and brought it to the main room.

She stood outside the children's door, knocked on the door, and said, "It's dinner." Not long after she shouted, there was a small sound in the room, and the door was pulled open from the inside.

Dali stood at the door, Yuanbao stood behind him, looked around with small eyes, not looking at her.

She thought of what Yuan Bao said when she was crying at noon, and knowing that he was embarrassed, she took the initiative to look away from him.

Dali saw his aunt standing at the door not talking or moving, so he and Yuan Bao stood at the door waiting.

"Let's go." After Shen Meihua finished speaking, she took the lead and walked into the main room.

Seeing that his mother had left, Yuanbao raised his head and walked out behind his brother with his short legs.

Vigorously sat on the bench and ate the noodles in the bowl one by one. From time to time, he looked up at the Yuanbao on the side, making sure that he was eating noodles before lowering his head and eating the noodles in his bowl.

Yuan Bao was eating the noodles in the bowl, and from time to time he raised his eyes to secretly glance at the mother sitting opposite. Whenever Shen Meihua wanted to raise his head, he immediately lowered his head.

After going back and forth a few times, Shen Meihua couldn't even think of seeing it. She raised her eyes and looked at Yuanbao who was eating noodles with her head down. Thinking of what he did just now, the corners of her mouth rose slightly.

Dali was the first to finish the noodles in the bowl and put down the bowls and chopsticks in his hands.

Seeing the empty bowl, Shen Meihua asked, "Are you full?"

There wasn't a lot of noodles left in the evening. Tomorrow they were going to Shen's mother's house. She wasn't mixing noodles, and she was afraid that she would eat too much and eat badly overnight. .
