6. The Aunt

No One's P.O.V

Jake held Y/N close. Then an officer came inside.

"You will be questioned soon but, do you have anywhere to stay?" The officer asked Y/N.

"Um, yeah." Y/N said as she softly gripped Jake's jacket. Jake smiled.

"Ok. You should go get treated." The officer spoke again. Y/N nodded as she let go of Jake and went outside, Jake behind her. The paramedic treated Y/N's wound and soon they were able to leave.

Y/N went back in the house to grab her things. When she was finished she took her bag and left the house. The police were done with everything and left the scene.

"Come on, let's go." Jake said holding out his hand. Y/N gladly took it.

It's crazy to think that a boy she met for the first time today already helped her through so much and practically saved her life, she thought.

-At The House-

Y/N sat on the couch with Jake explaining everything that happened and all she's been through with his aunt. She quickly accepted Y/N staying with them.

Jake's aunt went and prepared a room for Y/N. Jake and Y/N went to the kitchen where Jake started preparing ingredients for dinner. Y/N just smiled at him sweetly while sitting on a stool.

"Am I so handsome you can't take your eyes off of me?" Jake broke the silence.

Y/N didn't speak just slight blushed and looked away. Jake chuckled.

"I'll take that as a yes." He finished.

Just then someone smacked the back of his head.

"Goodness, leave the girl alone its been a long day." Jake's aunt walked in smiling, while Y/N let out a laugh.

"HEY, that hurt." Jake said and pouted cutely. The ladies didn't say anything just laughed.

"What are you laughing at?" Jake turned and pointed towards Y/N.

"You." Y/N said and stuck her tongue out.
Jake was about to chase her when his aunt pulled him back.

"You're not done here." She said.

"Bu-" Jake started.

"No buts." His aunt said cutting him off.

"You got to finish preparing the ingredients." She finished.

"Fine." Jake pouted and went back to what he was doing.

Jake's aunt smiled at Y/N.

"Come dear, I want to show you your room."she said.

Y/N P.O.V

I went with Jake's aunt as we left the kitchen to go see my room. I feel so grateful for her as she has been so kind to me. It makes me happy she wants me to stay.

We stopped in front of the door. She then turned to me and said she tried to make it as cozy and comfortable as she could. She also said I could decorate it however I want. I smile as she opens the door.

The room looked was bright but dim. There was a desk, a window with curtains that gave a nice view, a queen size bed and a good sized closet. I could tell she really tried seeing the canopy, simple decor, and subtle details every here and there. It was perfect. I thanked her as I put my stuff down and sat on the bed. She then quickly spoke.

"Is that bed comfortable for you or to small?" She asked.

As I was about to say it's perfect she spoke again.

" Because if not, Jake has a bigger bed if you don't mind sleeping with him." I froze at her words, my face growing hotter by the second. I was at a loss for words. She let out a small chuckle.

"Dear, I'm just kidding." She said and I let out a little awkward laugh.

"I like you child." Those words made me smile.

"But, just between you and me I don't think Jake would mind you sleeping in his bed." She spoke softly so Jake wouldn't hear. I covered my face with my hands.

"Ms." I said blushing.

"Oh dear, call me auntie." She laughed and she left me alone in the room.

She is really something I thought, laughing to myself. I took my bag and started unpacking all my stuff, I finished fairly quickly as I didn't bring a lot.

I sat on the desk chair thinking of all the stuff that happened today, this time smiling. I left the room to go put some stuff in the bathroom. The scent of spices and seasoning filled the air of the house, it smelled good.

Jake's aunt called for dinner while I washed my hands. I then headed to the table where I was met with a beautiful meal.

-After Dinner-

The food was so good and I was so full. Jake and his aunt made sure I ate a lot. We were now all cleaning and washing up. Then Jake suddenly says,

"You're not going to school tomorrow." I looked at him and smiled. He glared at me.

"I'm serious. You're not going unless I'm there with you." He said.

Gosh, why does he have to be so cute.

"Ok." I say. He smiled and we go back to cleaning.

"I am still here you know." Jake's aunt says as she looks at us with her hands on her hips.

We all burst out laughing.

Everyone washed up and got ready for bed. I was about to get into bed, when there was a knock at my door. It was Jake.

"I just wanna make sure you're ok. It has been a long day." He said sweetly, looking tired.

"Thanks, go get some sleep. ...Goodnight." I said shyly. He smiled.

"Goodnight." And he goes.
