Dennis soon roused from consciousness, Opening his eyes to a painfully bright light as he tried to recollect what had happened nights before, soon groaning from the shooting pain coming from his body. "So, you're awake" a recognizable voice spoke. Dennis turned his head, his blurry vision focusing; only to see Jonathan right next to him. Dennis sat up, Wincing at the sudden sharp pain coming from his ribcage.
-"Easy, you took quite a beating back there..." Jonathan said.
-"H-how long was I out for?" Dennis asked.
-"About four days now." Jonathan Answered
-"Four days, huh?" Dennis was confused.
-"Yeah, that's what you get for trying to fight someone way stronger."Jonathan Smirked.
Dennis looked at his body, seeing bandages wound around his chest, arms, and abdomen. He thought back to when he was viciously beaten for defending Silver Shadow from Psychometal.
-"Where is she?" Dennis questioned.
-"where's who?" Jonathan asked.
-"Silver, where did she go?" Dennis Worried.
-"Oh, her. She's safe, if not a bit shaken up by what happened to you."Jonathan Reassured.
Dennis tried to get up from the bed, pain almost immediately swarming his whole body again.
-"I thought I had told you to try and take it easy?" Jonathan asked.
Dennis reluctantly sat back down, wincing a tiny bit.
-"So how do you feel?" Jonathan asked
-"Like I just got hit by a truck."Dennis responded.
-"I understand, those wounds looked awful, like you got into a fight with a bear and lost." Jonathan Understood.
-"How bad was the damage?" Dennis asked, rubbing 2 of his fingers against the bridge of his nose.
-"A few broken ribs, some lacerations, a skull fracture, some really bad cuts, a burn wound around the neck, some bruises and scrapes, fractured wrist, sprained ankle, and a broken nose." Jonathan Summarized.
Jonathan got up and headed to the door
-"Try to rest up for a bit, and don't try pushing yourself too hard, ok?" Jonathan asked.
Dennis sighed, laying back down.
-"Okay, fine..." Dennis Obliged, though reluctant.
Jonathan walked outta the room, closing the door behind him, as Dennis looked up at the ceiling, slowly falling asleep again.
that was until he heard the sound of someone entering his room.....
