As the horse continued on moving forward the more you gripped onto Mirabel harder, afraid that you might flew away suddenly. You were aware that you are crushing the life out of Mirabel.

"Ouch! You're holding onto me way too hard y/n, you're gonna let me puke if you keep on doing that" You muttered a quick sorry as you loosen up your grip on her making Mirabel sigh in relief.

"We're here" Mirabel pulled the rope making the horse stop on its tracks, you slowly peeked behind Mirabel's shoulder as your jaw dropped at the view. Words can't describe how beautiful it was.

The sun peeking through the mountains that added more beauty to the calm water clear water of the river. Yellow butterflies flying all over the place. The place was simply gorgeous.

You felt Camilo getting off the horse as you did the same thing. Your eyes was still stuck at the view infront of you, questioning yourself was this a dream. It's too good to be true.

Camilo who saw you admiring the view, nudged you that caused you to look at him. "Is this the scary place that you mentioned earlier?" You let out a chuckle.

The boy's gaze went to the river, he suddenly had the urge to jump right in the water. He saw Mirabel washing her hands on the river giving him an idea that Mirabel would hate.

Mirabel saw the curly haired boy slowly walking towards her on her peripheral vision, and who knows what's his plan gonna be, but she's sure it was gonna be one of his pranks again.

"Camilo don't you dare" Mirabel warned, gripping the grass but no use, he already pushed her as she lost her grip making her all wet. She immediately got up and grabbed his feet making him stumble as he fell on the water.

"Y/n help!" Camilo screamed running away from Mirabel on the river as his legs getting tired easily everytime he tries to escape Mirabel.

You could only laugh at the argument of the cousins that was happening right in front of you.

"Y/n! Could you bring me my satchel please" Mirabel shouted as she tries to catch Camilo again, trying to get her revenge. You were confused of why she would want it when she's on the river, but you just obeyed her anyways.

As you stretched out your arm to Mirabel trying to distance yourself from the water, she suddenly grabbed her bag and threw it behind you making you confused. You didn't even had time to process that when she suddenly pulled you in the water.

"Mirabel!" You started chasing her as she laughed while running away from you. For the first time on this day Camilo broke out a small smile as he watched you and Mirabel laughing.

Your laugh was contagious as hell, he didn't even noticed that he was already chuckling. He got out of the water as pushed his hair back so it wouldn't block his eye. You noticed it as you felt a small spark on your chest as you shrugged it off.

"I'm getting hungry, can we eat now" You agreed to Mirabel. You were also feeling uncomfortable of your dress being soaked as you squeezed some water out of it.

"Your cookies are amazing! Almost as good as my mom's" Mirabel happily munched on the food, making you feel proud of yourself. You can't believe that your baking was almost as good as Julieta's.

"Yeah, I agree on that" Camilo nodded as he chewed the cookie. Without you and Mirabel looking he sneakily got two cookies as he silently rejoiced.  You blushed at their compliments, you never heard someone complement your cook for a long time now.

"Hey y/n, you okay? You look like you're about to explode any second now" Camilo asked when he saw you get all red all of a sudden.

"Oh nothing, I think it's because of the sun making my face red" You explained as the boy just nodded. Camilo stared at you for a moment as he looked away.
