Ever since the incident, Y/N hasn't left her home ever since. It's been about two weeks, and she's only been in her room, talking on facetime with her friends or binge watching movies on her computer.
She was on facetime with a couple of friends, when they asked her if we wanted to play game on PC. She hasn't ever played video games before, but the game sounded fun, and she decided to try it out. The game was called "Rec room" It was a game where people from all over the world could hang out and play other games with random people. "I mean I think my mom has a PC downstairs in the basement, I'll try to see if I can fix it and get it to work so we can play." She said, "alright, call when you do it." They said and she nodded. She hung up the phone and walked downstairs to see her mom reading a book. "hey mom, does that PC you have in the basement still work? I wanna play a game with friends and was wondering if I could borrow it for today" Christine looked up at her daughter. "Yeah, I mean go for it!" she said and looked back down to her book. Y/N smiled and went in the basement.

After 30 minutes of setting up the PC, She found her old pair of headphones and hooked everything up. After doing so, she downloaded the game on steam and told her friends that she did it.
A few hours later after the playing the game, she found many new people as she played. There was this one guy that always wanted to play, so she gave in. After playing with friends, she played with this guy for hours, not even noticing and forgetting about her life outside of the game.

(Javon's POV)

I was laying down in my bedroom while watching some boxing matches on YouTube. I got a bit bored and wanted to see if my girlfriend was alright. I opened the phone app going to her contact, and facetimed her.

No answer.

That's weird, she usually answers right away. I figured she might be eating or something but still decided to call her once more.

Ringing....
No answer.

Now I was worried. I called her mom and bit my nails nervously. I heard that she picked up. "Hey mom, is Y/N sleeping or?" Christine answered, "Hey javon, Y/N is actually downstairs playing some computer game with her friends. I mean I don't blame her since she hasn't been outside for the last two weeks." Christine said taking off her glasses. "I can give her the phone if you'd like?" She asked. He instantly said yes, and she walked downstairs into the basement. As she was walking in you can hear Y/N talking and laughing. "Hey baby, someone is on the phone for you." Christine said and handed Y/N the phone, "okay, hey michael, give me a second i'll be right back" she said and took the phone in her hands. "Hello?" she said to the phone, "Hey baby, I was just calling to see if you were alright. Sounds like you are." he said and chuckled in the end. "Yeah, i'm fine. hey do you think you can call me later i'm playing a game right now." She said. Javon raised an eyebrow. "Who are you playing with?" she asked, "Oh, I'm playing with michael. He's a guy I met on the game." she said. "I'll call you later alright? bye!" she said and the phone hung up.

"Michael?" Javon said in a confused tone. "I've never heard of someone named Michael before."

Now he wasn't saying that Y/N couldn't have any guy friends or anything. He loved that fact that she was making friends, even while staying home. But he's just never heard of the name michael. And it was making him curious, but he decided to let it go and went back to watching his boxing matches on his computer.
