Aria
I find a pathway that lets me look at the mountain and see the dwarfs build a wall
What are they doing?
"My Lady you must rest" Egnor says and I turn to him
"I can't sleep" I say and he looks at the mountain
"Please you will need your strength. Your Father will need you to be strong " he says and I gasp
"Will I make a good Princess? I mean I know nothing about ruling a kingdom and leading people" I say and he steps forward
"Ruling a kingdom is much simpler than that. Following your heart and doing what is right to protect your people, protect their beliefs and trust. Assure them that all is well even when it's not. It's not leading them ; its guiding them to a good future. " he says and I smile and look back at bard telling his children a story, smiling and laughing with them
"Do I have those qualities?" I ask and he smiles
"A few hours ago I saw a young elf girl thinking that their had to be some mistake. That there was no possibility that she was of royal blood, but then when she spoke to the people, I thought in that moment I was in front of King Thunduil himself in the battle long before your time speaking hope into his army and asking them to fight. Then I knew he was my King and I see that same pride in you. You will make a magnificent Princess and do more time make a very wise Queen" he says and I feel a tear fall
"You believe in me?" I ask and he nods
"With all my heart"
"Thank you" I tell him
"Please rest I will keep watch" he says and I nod and walk back to where Bard's daughters are and lay down to rest
"Aria........"
"Aria......"
who is that calling me?
I wake up in the same forest on the grass
"Aria..." A voice calls. It's deep and strong . I look around and see a white barn owl on a low branch
"Follow the owl" said the voice and I stand looking at the owl
"Why should I trust you?" I ask and the owl speaks but it is not the same voice ;this ones less deep
"Why would you not? We have watched you Aria Princess of Mirkwood. Watched you grow faster than any Elves life span, from a infant to a young girl and now is the time to fight for your family"
"We?" I ask and the owl chuckles
"Yes the Great white Bear, Gale and my self Sworen, and many other such creatures in the forest waiting for you" he says and I was taken back
"Me why?" I ask and he grins
"You are the daughter of a fallen star, you are very special and indeed a born leader of your kin, When the time comes I will be there to guide you to do the impossible. Wait for me" he said
"When?" I ask and he circles me again picking up leafs
"At your greatest need" he says and the wind in circles me and I cover my eyes
I wake up to find Egnor above me
"My Lady forgive me but you must follow me" he says and I get up and put my bow and arrows on my back and follow Egnor out. In the clearing I see an army of elves and I stand in between Bard and Egnor
